Another pleasant visit to City Kia Service to complete suggested maintenance. I was greeted promptly and graciously by service advisor Abel and he fully explained the plan for the scheduled service and gave me a preliminary completion timeline. I was then greeted by Sebastian in sales regarding the current Carfax report on my vehicle. He showed me how the current status of my car and the maintenance I've completed toward its care affected the current value and asked if I had any interest in choosing a new KIA based on the value of my current auto. We took a quick look around, but I do love my current car, so at this time I was all set. However, it was great to know that City Kia is keeping track of my car's value and giving me options if I am interested in changing in the future. He was very personable and if I were in the market for a new car, I would gladly work with him in the future. I returned to service and received another time update and full report of their findings on my 2023 Soul from Abel, including full diagrams regarding a required alignment, with specific numbers indicating the exact (incorrect) position of my wheels down to fractional amounts. Air and cabin filters, brakes and tires were checked, and did not require replacement at this time. It's always great to get this news - you know your team is looking out for both your safety AND your pocket. I had asked Abel about some strange readings on my car's tire inflation numbers per the tracking system on the car, and he made sure to go back into the service bays and ask the techs to check it again before I was cleared to go. Thank you very much, Abel, for your diligence - it is greatly appreciated! I also enjoyed the upgraded seating in the lounge area - the chairs are roomy and very comfortable! While everyone was very busy and obviously working hard to take care of their customers, I was very pleased with the regular updates and being kept in the loop regarding the timelines for completion. See you again around the holidays!
