Gary the shop manager is so unfriendly and unprofessional. Dawn even worse. This place robbed me $200 for a diagnostics test I told them I didn't want performed. Then gave me a quote double what anyone else had quoted - after I called 6 times, speaking to someone every time - before receiving an absurd quote 2 hours later. They held my car and wouldn't give it back without paying the diagnostic fee - then told me that I probably shouldn't come back ever again. John, the other man anger apologized, and said that's not how things typically work there, and that they'd consider reimbursing me for the diagnostic test the following week. Just spoke to Gary asking if they were going to - he laughed, said absolutely not, and ended the conversation there. It wasn't even my idea to seek reimbursement, it was their other managers. Clearly horrific line of communication there, and zero standard of service, hospitality, or customer retention or support. DONT GO HERE.

Kevin and Gary were great! They helped me in a bad situation and were so kind the whole way.

Horrible experience with Service Advisor LORI Im currently deployed and had my vehicle towed to Crown Hyundai, where Lori was assigned as my service advisor. Despite clearly telling her how to contact/communicate with me, she instead used the contact information for the co/owner of the vehicle my elderly grandmother and mother instead, which was unnecessary and concerning and let me know she didnt pay attention to anything I said regarding communication. After she sent me the recommended service copy I informed her on what services I wanted completed. I asked Lori multiple times for a clear invoice so I could arrange payment through my father. She emailed me an invoice with a lower price than the original recommended service copy, which I accepted and planned around. Later that same day, she sent a new invoice charging the higher original amount. When I questioned the discrepancy, she became rude and combative, offering conflicting explanations and even threatening to remove parts from my vehicle. The situation was escalated and through multiple conversations the service manager, Gary, later explained the issue was a computer error and apologized for Loris behavior. My issue was never the price itself, but the poor communication and unprofessional way the situation was handled. A simple apology and clarification would have avoided the entire conflict. Although I ultimately paid to resolve the matter, the experience left me feeling misled and disrespected. Even at pickup, communication was handled poorly with my father present in the lobby pay. If you are going to be serviced here ask for another advisor !

I reported a missing personal item immediately to my service advisor, Lori, after picking up my vehicle from service. Rather than documenting the concern or escalating it to management, I was repeatedly dismissed and told there was nothing that could be done and to go look around my house. When I eventually spoke with the service manager, Gary, the concern was minimized and I was told that no one had seen the item and that it was unlikely anyone would take it. I asked whether camera footage could be reviewed and was informed that there were no cameras available. This experience followed an already frustrating service visit. I was initially told my diagnosis would take 24 days, but it ultimately took over a week while I continued paying for a rental vehicle. When I finally received the diagnosis, it was not a written report or documented findings only a text message stating that I would need a $6,000 transmission replacement. When I asked for the actual diagnostic report or testing results, I was told none were available and that it would take additional time to provide them. I was left unclear how such a conclusion was reached without documented results. I also asked about alternative options, including a used transmission, and was quoted approximately $16,000 due to more labor, which did not align with the vehicle or situation. This is a 2020 Hyundai Elantra that recently had both the engine and battery replaced. I have been a loyal Hyundai customer for over 10 years, which made this experience especially disappointing. Additionally, when my vehicle was returned, an interior panel beneath the dashboard had been removed and left detached, exposing internal wiring components. I have photos documenting this condition. This further contributed to my concern about how my vehicle was handled during service. Between the lack of documentation, shifting timelines, and dismissive handling of legitimate concerns, the professionalism and transparency were lacking. Im sharing this so others are aware and can make informed decisions when choosing where to purchase and service their vehicle. Update: Still no response from management about my stolen property during service.

Christopher Murray and manager Gary Philips did a great job at helping with our issue. Even after the service counter Amanda Polacek and Casey Newman stated they never heard of us ( a fib ).Since both set up our repair. Also from the beginning NO ONE ( Vinny Zeitler ) would call us back for over a month to have our issue resolved -WE RECEIVED NO CALL

GARY THE CROWN SERVICE MGR. dissuaded me from bringing my Crown Hyundai factory-certified Tucson there after two other automotive shops said the EV/12 volt battery was set up in a way that they could not figure out. GARY THE SERVICE MGR. told me the battery was not covered by warranty but the Crown sales mgr. (and my Crown Hyundai factory certified warranty) said it was. When I dropped the car off, a random woman (not a service rep.) was enlisted to take my keys and call me an Uber. She mentioned they have only ONE EV mechanic so it would take "days" to replace my battery! When I called at 1 pm the day after dropping my car off, they had no record of my car in the computer system, didn't know where it was or who had the key. The person who is supposed to be the SERVICE MANAGER, GARY, called me back to say they would take care of my car "as soon as they could." This is an example of why I didn't want to take my car to the dealership in the first place. It took a WEEK to get the battery changed and tires rotated. Car returned dirty. No one reviewed charges or what was done to car. Calls for more info were unreturned. Worst "service" experience ever. I will be trading my car so I never have to deal with these people again.

GARY THE CROWN SERVICE MGR. tried to dissuade me from bringing my Crown Hyundai factory-certified Tucson there after two other automotive shops said the dead EV/12 volt battery was set up in a way that they could not figure out. GARY THE SERVICE MGR. told me the battery was not covered by warranty but the Crown sales mgr. (and my Crown Hyundai factory certified warranty) said it was. This is an example of why I didn't want to take my car to the dealership in the first place. The battery had to be ordered. Dropped my car off Thursday and got it back the following Thursday. Not cleaned and seat in wrong position. When I picked it up, no one went over the paperwork with me. I was charged over $40 labor to replace the cabin filter! (additional $40+ for the filter itself). Have no idea what was actually done to my car since they just gave me paperwork and keys and pointed to my car. I called John the other service mgr. and my MIA service rep. Jarett to find out what was wrong with my battery. No response from either. Incredibly bad experience all the way around. Now I want to trade this car so I never have to deal with Crown or Hyundai again.

I had great service from Carlos and the service manager (Gary?). I had been having problems with the car (2018 Sonata) starting up but then stalling. I had replaced the battery but that wasn't it. When the diagnostic codes showed an issue with the fuel pump I looked into it more and discovered Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) (23-FL-004H). This TSB is about certain 2015-2019 vehicles that may intermittently exhibit reduced engine power, a Crank/No Start condition, and/or have DTC P1233 stored in the ECM due to an internally leaking fuel pump filter housing. For vehicles exhibiting one or more of these conditions, Hyundai is extending warranty coverage for fuel pump filter assembly repair or replacement to 15 years / 150,000 miles from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use (whichever occurs first). This service action and warranty extension is valid for original and subsequent owners. This TSB applied to my car and once I told Carlos and Gary about it they looked up the TSB and asked their technician to gather the required photos and other details to satisfy the TSB warranty extension. Hyundai paid for the entire replacement of both fuel pumps (fuel pump and high pressure fuel pump). The only thing I would suggest for the service department is to somehow integrate TSB searches for diagnostic codes into their protocols for servicing vehicles. However, given their backlog you may want to take on this task yourself since it could save you hundreds or thousands of dollars. Overall, kudos for Hyundai, Carlos, Gary and to their service technicians. I have used Crown Hyundai a couple of times and have always received excellent treatment and service.

Great experience! This was my first purchase from a Crown Dealership, but the experience was a pleasant one. Gary Scott was the person who sold me the car and was very patient and knowledgeable. I would recommend Gary as he is great to deal with. I also feel I got a fair amount for my trade in so I was happy with that experience as well. I will definitely bring future business their way as well as recommend him and the dealership to friends and family.
