We took our Hyundai Sonanta to Crown after a check engine light came on. Although the check engine light had gone off, they made several suggestions that thought could fix the issue. During the inspection, they said the rear brakes needed to be replaced. A job they said would cost $350. We agreed to the quoted price and then received a bill for $623.12. We called to speak with John, the service manager. He said he would discuss the charges with our service advisor Juan Cruz and he would call us back. We never received a call to explain the extra charges. I called John again the next day and still didn't receive a return call. Labor-$419.95 Parts-$182.41 Supplies-$50.00 The lack of transparency and responsiveness deserves a 1 star review. If the charges are twice as much as what is quoted there is a problem. We will never take our car back to Crown Hyundai and would not recommend using them.

Crown Hyundai Dealer in St. Petersburg is a dealership we've used for over 20 years, and it continues to be a superior, professional and customer friendly Dealer. The Sales Consultant, Andew Turner was extremely helpful and completely understood our needs and we truly felt he was representing us with the purchase of a new car. Unfortunately, after purchasing my new Genesis GV80 I have found the service to be horrible. They no longer honor the Genesis 3 year Valet Service as well as no longer honor the Genesis 3 yr loaner car when servicing my car! I was told they would provide a weekly quick hand wash when my car needed like Audi provides (part of our negotiating). No longer honoring this either! DO NOT BUY YOUR VEHICLE HERE! They offer 100k car and promise excellent service but fail!
