We were very happy with the drop off and pick up process for our Chevy Colorado for the truck bed protective coating to be applied. This finished product is great and we have already enjoyed using the truck and the durability of the spray on bed liner. Our salesman Tareq did a fantastic job from start to finish, meeting our expectations and delivering everything that was promised to us from the moment we signed the sales agreement. We enjoyed most being able to walk into the dealership and browse without being instantly set upon by aggressive salespeople. Tareq patiently made contact with us after 10 minutes of browsing and without being pushy offered answers to any questions we had and honest answers on the Chevy pick up trucks we were looking at. Tareq is truly a gentleman in the vehicle sales industry and we would highly recommend paying Empire Chevrolet of Hicksville a visit if you are looking for a harassment free experience and a knowledgeable staff to meet your expectations. - The Uttaro Family

My experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. The entire team was unprofessional and dishonest regarding the price we had agreed upon. My first salesperson, Erick Charles, rarely returned my phone calls. After I placed a deposit on a vehicle, it took more than three weeks for the dealership to arrange delivery. During that entire time, no one ever contacted me with an update. I had to call every week myself just to check the status. Even when the vehicle finally arrived, no one notified me. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I was assigned a different salesperson, Tareq, who did not know the agreed-upon price. He had to go back and forth with the sales manager multiple times. Each time he returned, the price was different—and always higher than before. To make matters worse, the vehicle they presented was not the one I had originally placed a deposit on. It was a less expensive model, yet they still attempted to charge me the higher price. It took a long time to negotiate and correct the pricing. After we finally agreed on the correct price, I met with the finance manager, who again tried to add several thousand dollars to the total. When I questioned the amount, he claimed it was a computer error and acted as though he was unaware of the agreed-upon price. He also kept the sales contract out of view, making it difficult for me to verify the numbers. I had to bring Tareq back in to confirm the correct purchase price. Before I left the dealership, Tareq asked me to give him an excellent survey rating because he said his bonus depended on it. He gave me his phone number and told me to text him when my oil level became low so he could refill it and also wash my vehicle. I texted him the following week as instructed, but he never responded. Overall, this was one of the worst car-buying experiences I have ever had. Between the poor communication, repeated pricing discrepancies, attempts to charge more than the agreed price, and unfulfilled promises after the sale, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
