I'd like to start by saying that working with my salesman, Joe, was a pleasure. He was very responsive and prompt. Unfortunately that's where my good experience with Empire CJDR of West Islip ends. I purchased a vehicle out of state and was on a deadline. At too many points throughout this transaction the process was delayed due to the dealership's poor communication or timeliness. At one point when I had dispatched a carrier and had a pickup scheduled for the car they then notified me that some of the titling paperwork would need to be "original ink" or signed physically. This was going to cause the car to not be released in time for the carrier pickup so I requested they let me handle the titling on my own and just release the car. This resulted in waiting a month for the refund check to make it back to me since I already paid the dealership titling fees and taxes. On top of the nightmare logistical hurdle of purchasing this vehicle out of state, the heads-up-display, which was included on the car listing, was not working upon arrival and it cost me hundreds to diagnose at a dealership. Empire CJDR also specifically took pictures of the interior making point to avoid showing the damage to the seats. The car was in good mechanical shape, however it popped a check engine light within the first week of me owning it. It was a simple evap valve failure. All things to be wary of if purchasing a vehicle sight unseen but disappointing nonetheless.
