I shopped around for a big suite of maintenance services on a 10 year old Mazda and was surprised to see a dealership come up with a very competitive price. Megan was wonderful to work with and was the reason I’ll return in the future, along with Ebone. I appreciated a loaner vehicle for amount of work I had done. They worked quickly and didn’t push for additional services while giving honest opinions. Full brake and rotor service, belt replacements, alignment.

I had a wonderful experiencing having my car serviced at Empire Mazda. I was especially impressed with Megan Dolce's communication and care. She was highly responsive and made sure that my car received all the service details requested. Not only that, Megan had left for work for the day when she noticed I had a puzzled look on my face. She stopped in her tracks, turned around and asked how she could help. I shared with her my confusion regarding the GPS. She found the part I needed and fixed the situation on the spot. That is going above and beyond in customer care! I definitely plan to return to Empire Mazda to have my car serviced.

Deceptive service practices. Booked an appointment online for an oil change and tire rotation, and got quoted $92. Went in-person and was told the quote was wrong and that it would cost $99 for the oil change and $40 for the tire rotation. I skipped the rotation cause you can get it done for free at Mavis but I went ahead with the oil change and handed a $20 off coupon. I was expecting my bill to be around $85 for the oil change plus tax, but it ended up being $96. Upon looking at my bill I noticed an extra charge for $10. I asked my service advisor Megan what that was for and she said “shop fees” I find this practice to be extremely deceptive as shop fees should be told upfront for something as simple as an oil change. I then asked her what were the shop supplies used for this job besides a tool to loosen the bolt on my oil pan. She said it was for oil disposal etc. now my problem is other companies also have fees but they’re transparent with them and tell you before hand if they have an oil disposal fee etc. and for jobs like this it’s fixed and in your initial invoice. How would you feel if you ordered a $20 pasta at a Resturant and got the bill and had a $5 plate fee, a $2 cutlery fee, and a $10 wear and tear on their pans fee. Shops like this take advantage of people and always end up charging the customer more. $10 isn’t a crazy amount but it is 10-12% more than I expected to pay. Also if you’re gonna do an oil change, obviously you’re gonna have to dispose of the oil. So that fee should be built into the total price. I understand a shop fee for more complicated jobs where it’s difficult to keep track of the use of different shop items but this is straight forward, and any fee or change to the invoice should be disclosed and approved by the customer before the job. Not after.

I have purchased enough vehicles to say that this dealership ACTUALLY CARES about its customers. I purchased my second vehicle here recently and had to bring it in for service where I was given a loaner. Lets start with Wayne, who was on top of the whole process from start to finish and gave me a deal that "I couldnt refuse". Eduardo from the sales team was constantly on the phone with me from start to finish, finalizing the deal and making sure I was happy with my purchase. I hope he is there when my kids needs cars because he was excellent! Ask for him! He will make it happen! From my first few services, you start with a big smile from Janet who will make sure your car intake process is smooth. She kept me up to date with the progress from start to finish. Truly amazing but I have to say, Megan would also take the initiative to keep me posted while Janet was occupied with other customers. To the sales management team and working with Mitch makes the buying process straight forward and smooth. He knows his numbers and will make everything easy for you to understand with no pressure at all! Lastly, Regis...This man right here makes the service department one that I would pick over and over again. From calling me with updates and making sure I am ok with my loaner to asking me about how my day is going, this man made me realize that we all have jobs to do and he does it better than anyone in the business. Thank you Regis for making me feel as if I am part of the Empire Mazda Family! If I ever open a dealership, im asking Wayne to let me borrow all of you to get it up and running! Thank you all for the little things that make the experience that much better!

Empire Mazda is great. They provide fast and efficient service, in a pleasant atmosphere. Megan at the service desk, always greats you with a smile, which makes you feel welcomed. The sales staff are top notch and will help you find what you want, without being pushy. David Bivins in sales is the guy to see, he listens and guides you to what you want. I have nothing but high praises for this place based on my experiences thus far. Keep up the good work!
