I should have read the reviews before walking into this dealership. Instead, I learned the hard way and maybe my story will help the next person. Fair warning: avoid Nissan Bay Ridge. I'll spare you the long, boring details and get straight to the ending. I did my homework, reviewed the numbers, asked questions, and thought I was getting a solid deal. Then I signed the paperwork. That's when the story changed. What was promised somehow wasn't what appeared on the final scorecard. The amount of money wasn't life-changing, but your story could be worse. The point. Trust matters. If you're buying or leasing a car, you should be able to rely on what you're told before you sign. In this situation that trust disappeared fast. The cast of characters: First, there was Phil, "the boss," who looked like he wobbled out of a low-budget 90s mob movie and lost a fight with a tanning booth-serious he dresses like Dunsky . Then there was Ray, the finance wizard, whose confidence exceeded his computer skills by a wide margin-and probably plots Jihads during his spare time. Finally, there was Ethan, the young brainless salesman who seemed far more committed on sucking his vape pen-wishing it was his momma's meat stick. So, people of New York, do yourselves a favor-go to another dealership-And if you're determined to buy a Nissan, there are plenty of dealerships in Long Island, Queens, and Staten Island waiting for your business.
