I leased a vehicle from Empire Nissan and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Before signing my lease, I specifically asked about the mileage allowance because mileage was important to me. I was told that I would have 15,000 miles per year. I later discovered that my signed lease only allows 5,000 miles per year, which is a huge difference over the term of the lease. When I contacted the dealership to address the issue, I was told that because I signed the contract showing 5,000 miles per year, that is what I am responsible for. The salesperson is now denying that I was ever told 15,000 miles per year. I understand that I signed the contract, but my complaint is about the information I was given before I signed it. Had I understood that this lease only included 5,000 miles per year, I would not have knowingly agreed to those mileage terms. I am very disappointed with how this situation has been handled and would strongly encourage anyone leasing a vehicle to carefully verify every number in the contract, regardless of what they are told during the sales process.
