I took my 2019 CT LTD to the dealership for inspection. I felt that Sal Sr. was honest and up front about services that needed to be done on my car. The work was done in a timely manner and I did have a question about something and when I contacted Sal he told me to come back the next day so he could take a look. It was nothing serious ( needed new tire pressure sensor) and it was addressed right away.

I don't write many reviews, but Empire Subaru's service department absolutely earned this one. After a frustrating experience at another Subaru dealership, where I was told I'd have to pay a $240 diagnostic fee even though the vehicle was under warranty, was warned it was likely a major repair that would not be covered by the powertrain warranty, and was met with poor attitudes, I brought the car to Empire Subaru. Sal, the Service Manager, immediately put me at ease. He took the time to explain everything clearly, was honest, and assured me they would properly diagnose the issue instead of guessing. He arranged a complimentary loaner, and before long the problem was identified as a manufacturer defect that was fully covered under the powertrain warranty. The repair was completed seamlessly with zero out of pocket cost. The difference in professionalism, honesty, and customer service was night and day. If you need your Subaru serviced, do yourself a favor and go to Empire Subaru.

Someone parked in front the garage, so I parked towards the side it was raining .. I explained to Salvatore, he said don't worry, I'll move your car into the garage. You don't have to go out out there because it's raining. I'll take care of it! She was a nice service guy, helped me out! Excellent service!

I would like to highly commend Sha in the parts department. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about Subaru parts, professional, and courteous. Additionally, the service team—specifically Elle, Sal Jr., and Sal—operates at a four-star level. They are professional, kind, and explain the service process thoroughly. While my initial concerns were not completely addressed, the team did offer some relief regarding the ongoing mechanical issues I have faced with the Thermal Control Valve (TCV) design. This component has failed multiple times, causing significant stress and financial burden. Despite these recurring defects, the staff worked hard to make the experience as positive as possible.

Have bought cars from this dealer and absolutely love the service department. We recently had an issue with our crosstrek that randomly died on myself while driving it one day in Huntington. From start to finish, Elle the service receptionist and Sal the service manager were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Elle gave me the Subaru roadside assistance number to get our car immediately there and gave us a loaner in the meantime while they looked at it which helped a lot. Sal was amazing with getting the car looked at as soon as possible and done in a timely matter. I would recommend anyone to come to this Subaru service department everyone is respectful professional and caring.
