I recently decided to lease a vehicle for the first time and narrowed my search to a few subcompact SUVs. The Honda HR-V was my top choice, but it was also the most expensive option. I did my research, ran the numbers, and went into Lia Honda with an ambitious but reasonable monthly payment in mind, though I wasn’t sure it was achievable given my limited credit history. Salesman Aby Babu and finance manager Jess Benton exceeded my expectations and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Aby was knowledgeable, straightforward, and helpful. He never tried to upsell me to a larger model or higher mileage allowance, and he explained the vehicle’s features without resorting to typical high-pressure sales tactics. Jess was phenomenal, too. She secured the deal I had hoped for but honestly didn’t expect, along with great financing despite my limited credit history. She explained the protection packages in clear, easy-to-understand terms, honestly discussed the pros and cons, and gave me the space to decide what worked best for me without pressuring me into unnecessary add-ons. Both Aby and Jess made me feel informed, respected, and confident throughout the process. I drove away with exactly what I wanted: a great vehicle with financing terms that work for me. Leasing my first vehicle could have been overwhelming, but their knowledge, transparency, and authenticity made it one of the most positive dealership experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Aby, Jess, and Lia Honda to anyone looking for a dealership experience where they feel supported rather than pressured!

My husband and I had such a fantastic experience at Lia Honda. A huge thank you to Abraham for making this experience pleasurable, honest and stress free. Abraham was very professional and made sure we were comfortable with the process. He even came in on his day off to finalize our transaction. Wow! That doesn’t happen very often.

Great experience, easiest car buying I was in and out in two hours driving off the lot. I worked with Aby and the finance manager Jessica.

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Abraham Babu at Lia Honda Albany NY , when I recently purchased my new car. His communication was top-notch throughout the entire process, keeping us informed every step of the way. We truly appreciate his dedication to finding exactly what we wanted. Working with Aby was a breath of fresh air. There were no hidden fees or last-minute surprises—the final price was exactly as we negotiated. He was transparent, honest, and made the paperwork painless and quick. If you want a straightforward car-buying experience, go see Aby. Highly recommend him. - Bardhyl

DON't GO, RUN! - Saw a car listed that I liked, so I went to test drive. - Car was disgusting, they hadnt cleaned it yet. But, I have kids and Im used to the mess, so I said fine. -Told me Im not allowed to test drive the car. -Got them to agree that test drives are OK but the car was on E and they refused to put gas in it. -Asked if I could drive 1,000 feet down the road to a Stewarts and turn around at least and they let me do that (refused to put gas in again). -SLIME: Was buying the car with cash, but they had me go back and talk to their finance guy about warrantees. Guy offered me a six year warranty I think it was. I think it was for about 5$4,800. I said no thanks and then he offered to give me a special deal for somewhere around $2,200. I had no intention of buying it regardless. But, it clearly showed he was trying to rip me off the entire time. - Go to pick up the car (on the day THEY told me it would be ready). They tell me they cleaned it 30 minutes ago and I'll need to sit on a plastic sheet for the entire day. - THAT DAY: The check engine light comes on. -I called up the dealership and they said, yeah I can bring it in, but they wont provide a loaner car, theyre going to keep it an undetermined amount of time, and I can go rent a car. THE DAY I PICKED IT UP! -Calls and emails were had with the dealership and the general manager told me I could bring it in right away and they would instantly look at it. - Half a week or a week later after my son has brain surgery, I call on a Friday and speak with a sales manager. They were nice enough and told me to bring it in, they would instantly look at it for me and get me out of there. I VERY specifically confirmed this over the phone multiple times before ending the call. I need a vehicle to be available for my kid and I'm reassured multiple times I can come right in and they'll be expecting me. - I leave my child who just had brain surgery a few days ago to bring this car over and they tell me they refuse to look at it, and I can make an appointment for the end of next week. They will not be providing transportation and will be keeping it an undisclosed amount of time. I get it, in a business when youre buying something and youre dealing with five or six different people, there might be a mess up. However, there was literally NOT A SINGLE positive thing or even neutral (it went ok) step in the entire process. *Not counting the last phone call I had where it seemed to go well and I found out it was all a lie and I left my child for nothing to waste my time for their apparent amusement. - Been telling everyone I know. Not that it matters to them, but I was able to prevent one sale when my stepfather was looking for a car so minor victory for me, I guess. -Filing with the State Attorney General for what good that will do and now I have to spend time and effort on small claims court.
