So... I went to Lia Toyota for a detail of my car. I usually go to mohawk Honda but they jacked up their prices and something always gets ruined so figured let me give Toyota a try. I got a quote which I then come and pick up my car to then try to get me to pay more. But that's not even reason for my review as I understood how that mistake could have been made. When I picked up my car, I looked it over inside as that's what took me there. Then I went home. Being end of July/August, there was no rain. Then it rained about 10 days after and I saw that my wiper was broken. Like the plastic was broken and the rubber was ripped. It was horrific as it couldn't wipe cos the whole thing folded over like the letter U when I would try to wipe. It was DANGEROUS!! Ps- I wasn't using my car much to preserve the detail so we were using my husband's car. When I went back to tell them they broke my wiper they said they record videos and I was like that is great! But guess what...as soon as I said it, the service manager Steven came out and you could tell from his face he was not going to take responsibly. His first reaction wasn't "let's take a look and ensure nothing happened while it was in our care " he came with"none of my guys would do this, we only lift the blades and nothing else". I said sure... But something happened. Then he started with "maybe at your house, maybe the bar winds that came through here the last week" to which I asked and only my car and wipers got damaged? The service manager and GM went to look at the check in video that doesn't showed my wipers were fine when I brought it the car. But cos they conveniently didn't have an exit video, they blamed it on me. I've replaced my wipers before so if something had happened in my care I'd just replace them no biggie. What pissed me off is the attitude and boys club attitude. I even had to ask him if he asked or spoke to the person that actually did the wash (bare in mind this was after all the refusing responsibility and yet he didn't even know who washed it). He reviewed the video with Rick the GM (who didn't even have the decency to come back and talk to me yet he came to talk to me when it was time for the video) who all just decided they won't take responsibility. Such poor customer service. Not even a "cos we don't have an exit video and we can't be sure if we are 100% responsible, let us give you a discount and we replace them now ". Nothing like that. Steven the service manager just got all upset with me instead and insisted over and over that wasn't their fault or their problem. Rick just ran away, yet as the GM it was in his power to turn this horrible (and not very expensive) experience around with a simple discount, an apology if it Indeed happened on their watch and a commitment to remedy issues like this in the future. Nothing!!!!! Check your cars if you still trust them to service your car. They do not have integrity, customer service, or even manners to practice active listening with their PAYING customers. Very poor service. And I read a few other reviews after about their service recently so I'm not surprised. Take your car up Toyota section at your own risk. And don't expect anything from head of service. He'll defend themselves when he doesn't even know who he is defending or why. If you take your car, record a video before you leave their premises and even then... They still won't own up or even compromise with an offer to help you. I ended up just going into Nissan on the same street that just charged me for the blades and not the service fee for installation. That's customer service when they see a distressed customer. Ps my issue wasn't even the cost of the wipers which is like $40 it's how they behaved and the lack of accountability, the poor service, and the quick turn around to blame me instead of looking at all the possibilities. The brush off and quick blaming the customer by Steven the service manager was atrocious!

I bought my last couple Toyotas here and after checking service costs from other shops, I have found that Lia Toyota is best. So when I needed body repair, I took it to Lia Collision and Steve Manhey kept me updated with progress and handled insurance company interactions. The body repair is outstanding. My car looks new. I couldnt be happier.

I collided with a large buck on my way into work and damaged quite a bit of the front of my truck. From the moment the overhead door was raised at the collision center and I drove it in, Steve Manhey went right to work looking over my truck and figuring out what needed to be replaced or fixed. He was very straight forward, telling me about how long that it would take, and what the variable factors were that would speed up, or delay the repair process. He kept me informed with updates on the progress the entire time since insurance and ordered parts were involved. They did a really great job on my truck, and it was done super fast for the amount of damage and parts that were needed to be replaced. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my truck back if it needed any more work to be done.

Wondering

I was surprised that the initial cost estimate for the body work needed to repair the rear-end collision my car suffered was so far off from the final cost. The estimate was only about half of what the insurance company was billed for. The work done was evidently well done, and the car has run fine since. But I have a gnawing wonder if I was bait in a money trap, since the crash was clearly the fault of the other (impaired) driver.
