Do not buy from Lia. Google "white paint toyota" and find there are tens of thousands of people with extremely failing paint and clearcoat. There are several FBook groups as well. My 2016 Tacoma, purchased from Lia..began peeling at ~50k miles..then the clearcoat failure shortly followed. At 60k it looked like it had been baking in Arizona for 40 years. Lia, as well as Corp..admitted the problem but only offered half-assed resolve. Lia yanked me around for 18 months and eventually sent me a letter saying the clearcoat failure was due to 'something i've done'. Classy. I even brought the truck to them on a weekend...car shopping and seeing what I could get for trade-in. They immediately noticed the paint and came back $6-8k below Blue Book. It recently had gotten so bad that I decided to cut my losses..lose significant $...and go elsewhere for replacement. Nissan gave me ~$2k more than Lia offered...one and a half years later. Lia does not care...nor does Corp. Do not waste your hard-earned money buying anything from them.

I saw a vehicle that caught my eye online. A 2014 Honda CR-V. 105K miles, for $12058. I called and asked if it was still available and the man told me yes, come check it out. When I got there I talked to a guy that told me the car was "Stolen" by the dealer across the street, and they sold it. What a waste of time.

Truck was there for a vibration @45-55 mph for a second time. Combined accrued mileage between the 2 visits is over 100 miles only to be told " this is a normal operating characteristic ". As a vehicle driveline specialist, let me just say "no, it isn't". The techs there are clueless.

I would give it no stars at all if I could. The people who work there appear to me to have been trained in shuffling off all responsibility for their bad work onto others, in charging incredible fees for doing almost nothing, and in wasting your time. Took the car in after two hybrid batteries failed. Said they'd do a diagnostic for $150, adding that I needed some bulbs over my license plate. I said ok on the diagnostic. Then they called to say the codes had been wiped and they needed to do a fuller diagnostic so it would be $600 +. They told me they'd need at least 3 hours to do the diagnosis, including as much as two hours of driving because all the codes had been erased by the previous diagnosis. Got it back after they told me that I needed a new hybrid battery instead of the auxiliary batteries they thought I'd replaced. When I said I'd had two hybrid batteries in the space of two months and had come in because they had both failed, they said it was a matter of subprime, after-market non-dealer batteries, etc., etc. They promised to replace the hybrid battery for $7000, When I said the car wasn't worth it, they charged me for the full three hours of diagnostic time. Turns out, however, that they drove my car about 10 miles and they may have spent as much as half an hour doing the diagnosis (I know this, because I've had it done several times now recently). When I complained that they had also charged me some $60 bucks to change the lightbulbs that I hadn't asked them to change, they said I had signed the contract that made me the one who had asked to have the bulbs replaced, when in fact it was the rep who suggested they needed replacing and put it on the contract without asking for my agreement. Ultimately, they dropped that charge. What would an honest mechanic have done? They would have said : go home, drive some more, if the codes come back, bring it in and we'll diagnose your car for $150. Instead, they just saw a way to finance their huge operation. Let me also say that they have NO respect at all for your time.

I was told that my rear breakpads were so bad that they really need to be replaced and that it will be $580. That seemed like alot. I called a trusted garage and they said they would do it for $250. When i brought my car in, they said the drum did not appear to have been taken off recently so they aren't sure how Toyota could tell the pads were bad. When they looked at the pads it appeared to them that there was at least 40,000 miles left on them. Did Toyota actually perform the checks ?
