The car looks great after repair work due to a person driving into the back of it. Johnny did a great job with battling her insurance company and was able to get them to finally pay in full….the Insurance company dug their heels in every step of the way. The receptionist is very welcoming and friendly. A pleasure to talk with. The Estimator, Jenn was very helpful and professional. She was fun to deal with as she has a good sense of humor, as I can be sarcastic in a fun way and we all got along and laughed. The end result was a very nice paint repair on my rear bumper of my Mercedes E550. Highly Recommended!

I had an excellent experience with Jenn Smith at Crown Collision Center in Pinellas County. If you’re looking for a reliable auto body shop or collision repair center, I highly recommend working with Jenn. From the initial estimate through drop-off and pick-up, Jenn was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She communicated clearly throughout the entire repair process and kept me updated every step of the way, which made a stressful situation so much easier. My Nissan Versa had a long, deep scratch across three panels from vandalism. Since it’s a leased vehicle, I needed the repairs done properly using OEM parts and paint. Jenn made me feel completely confident that everything would be handled correctly, and the finished repair looked amazing. The team at Crown Collision Center also made the process seamless by coordinating with my insurance and my rental car— it was delivered to the shop shortly after dropping off my personal vehicle and I was able to leave it there when I returned, which was incredibly convenient. I took my 2022 Kia Sportage to Crown Collision Center as my front bumper was hit & I lost my front sensors. Johnny Popwell was my service representative. Johnny is a very personable person & I feel he's an asset to Crown. The women behind the desk that greet the customers & do the billing were all so nice & pleasant, also an asset to Crown
Jenn Smith was my Estimator. She facilitated exceptionally good service for me and my needs. She was a good listener, noting all my concerns. She communicated with me what repairs and painting were necessary and at what cost. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. The needed paint and repair was done very professionally, and my car was washed and clean inside and out when the work was completed.
Had one of the least professional and satisfying experiences after my car was in an accident and towed to Crown as the Mercedes authorized repair shop. In addition to the work being incomplete, with unexplained delays throughout a month long process, the customer service representative was anything but helpful. There was a combination of lack of responsiveness, conflicting information, missed deadlines and such a laissez-faire attitude that bordered on indifference with no effort to take any initiative or accept any accountability. The repairs were not completed and after much frustration and lack of information, I had my car released and sent to the MB in Boston area, where repairs were completed, including redoing things that were not properly addressed by Crown. Communication, accountability and professionalism were paramount and am only sorry that I ever interacted with Crown Collision and suggest that at the very minimum, they should pay attention to the quality and responsiveness of their repair, and especially service team. Was not impressed and barely able to add anything positive about working with Vinny.

The only one Star review I’ve ever left. One star. I stopped in for an estimate and waited 30 minutes just to speak with a writer. The receptionist mentioned they were in a meeting that was supposed to end at 10:00 AM. At 10:05, with a flight to catch and no update or follow-up from anyone, I approached the desk and explained that if a service writer couldn’t come out soon, I would have to leave. Her only response was “OK.” It came across as dismissive—essentially, “go ahead and leave.” There was no attempt to assist, no urgency, and no effort to retain the business. A simple, “Please give me a moment, sir—let me see if I can get someone for you,” would have completely changed the experience. As a business owner, I don’t expect perfection—but I do expect basic customer service: acknowledgment, communication, and a willingness to help. Unfortunately, none of that was present here. First impressions matter, and this experience fell well short.

Victoria answered all my questions and concerns, this was the first experience I had with an accident. She was very patient and walked us through every step. I should have walked away before they started in my car. This nightmare began when I was at the scene of the accident, I called in and the receptionist said to either drive or tow my car in. I arrived and she then told me they won’t take my car without a claim number which the insurance company advised it takes 24 hours to produce. I had to beg a manager to let me keep the car there and sent them the claim number the next day. At that point they assigned a service advisor who wasn’t proactive at all advising me the status on my car. After a few weeks she became non responsive for a week and once I involved a manager again I was told she wasn’t with the company any longer. The new advisor assigned to the car send me totally different numbers of the damages which was off from the previous numbers by over $6,000. Finally I called in to check on status and they said great news the car is done after this 8 week nightmare. They said to come at 3:30, I go there at 4:00 and was told the car was just finishing being detailed. We waited about 20 minutes and was then told they were wrong the detail process hasn’t started and it’s being calibrated and he was wrong the car isn’t ready. Another waste of time, and all they say is so sorry. I have never dealt with such an unorganized shop in my life. Months later have to add an update, just had my number removed because sensors weren’t working and this collision center never removed the protective tape that’s there to prevent paint overspray and prevented system from working. Adding to such a bad experience months later of bad work.
