Drop my car off weeks ago with Vinny repeatedly called and left messages, no return call. Two weeks later had to physically show up to find out what was going on with the car. Saw Vinny in the hallway, called him over and I told him my situation and he said their phone lines must be having problems, but he assured me left messages about the messages. But the story gets stranger. He told me that we cannot fix your car. Your car you can take it with you. We cannot fix your car after waiting for GEICO claim adjuster to come out and do their review.'s spoke to his manager today, Tom Haley he said the same thing it's a risk we cannot fix your car. It's a liability to us. If something happens there was too many things that we need to be fixed on the car. I'm shaking my head. I'm saying to myself really. So I had to end up calling Geico to explain the situation and they end up towing the car to Crash Champions who it remains today. In the meantime, I lost two a rental car. Very bad company.

I should have walked away before they started in my car. This nightmare began when I was at the scene of the accident, I called in and the receptionist said to either drive or tow my car in. I arrived and she then told me they won't take my car without a claim number which the insurance company advised it takes 24 hours to produce. I had to beg a manager to let me keep the car there and sent them the claim number the next day. At that point they assigned a service advisor who wasn't proactive at all advising me the status on my car. After a few weeks she became non responsive for a week and once I involved a manager again I was told she wasn't with the company any longer. The new advisor assigned to the car send me totally different numbers of the damages which was off from the previous numbers by over $6,000. Finally I called in to check on status and they said great news the car is done after this 8 week nightmare. They said to come at 3:30, I go there at 4:00 and was told the car was just finishing being detailed. We waited about 20 minutes and was then told they were wrong the detail process hasn't started and it's being calibrated and he was wrong the car isn't ready. Another waste of time, and all they say is so sorry. I have never dealt with such an unorganized shop in my life.
Unfortunately, I need to write another review. As I said before, my daughtear's car was repaired and the sticker under the hood that has all the pertinent information about the car was removed and not replaced. I informed Crown about this. To this date, they have yet to contact me or my daughter about a new sticker. My daughter has called them and left numerous messages with no return call. Just like before. Once again, communication is deplorable. Is there anyone at Crown that has the courtesy to return a phone call??
RUN don't walk away from this auto body shop. If I could have given it a zero star I would have. Shame on greedy Kevin Hawkins the owner for the bait and switch. I was quoted $1500.00 for two dents I had on my car by the door. I dropped it on off Monday and was told it would be ready on Friday. They called me on Thursday to tell me that they estimated the cost wrong and that now It would cost almost EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS.... FOR TWO DENTS!!! They advised that now I would need two new doors, a bumper a fender etc. WHAT?? (no worries I was told that the insurance company would cover it (which costs all of us). I told them that I wanted my car back and had to wait until the end of the day to get it. To say that I was upset would be a huge understatement. By the way while I was there and older woman around 80 came in to get her car and stated that she had been waiting for 2 months to get it back and they informed her that she needed more work than they originally estimated. Oh and by the way they charge you $90.00 a day for storage?? Ridiculous. I went to another body shop and got my car repaired for $1500.00. I want to protect future clients from going thru the experience that i had. If you need your car fixed please go anywhere but here.
I had an appointment at 11am and when walked in and was not greeted or acknowledged by anyone at the receptionist desk until I said something since quite a few of the workers were standing at the desk chatting it up. When I told them I had an appointment, everyone seemed confused even though I had called at 9am to check and make sure everything was in place. When I mentioned the call and my appointment, a large man with a bun told me "yeah well no one wants to be here but we can find your appointment for you." I have to say, this was an immediate off put to me as when I bring my car in for repairs somewhere I want them to at least *seem* like they care about my vehicle. After getting the estimate on my car I was then informed that even though I had set up an appointment today, they wouldn't be able to touch my car until possibly sometime next week. This would have been lovely to know when I called at 9 since I scheduled a rental car for the time in which I wouldn't have access to my vehicle. As someone who works in customer service, this place was kind of a joke. I did not feel respected or confident leaving my car here at alllll. I originally planned to go here because my experience buying a car with crown Honda was incredible and I was hoping that it would be the same here. I don't know what's up with the management there, but it definitely needs some work.
Perfection is the standard at Crown Collision. I had an accident with my Volvo XC60 and my vehicle was repaired as if there had never been any damage. The car looks great and drives perfectly Thank you David!

Stay far away! Take my advice! Run!!!!! I would rather have my car fixed by a homeless person...
Bret Simon was incredible! I was really bummed because I had scratched up my car really bad and he took care of it without a problem! He's the best!!!!! Jeff Jeff Morris St. Petersburg, FL
Brought my 2018 kia STINGER to get new paint job do to sun damage and they did a great job! My car now looks brand new ! received very professional care for job and customer.
Tony Matthews did my estimate on January 24, 2024. saying it would take 6 days but they needed $1100 deposit to order parts. I paid it with the understanding that when they received a check from my insurance company I would get $600 back since I had a $500 deductible. It took a month for parts to arrive. I dropped my car off on March 4. I asked for my deposit back since they had received the first check from my insurance company. Tony said he would take care of it. I kept asking when my car would be ready. All they would say is soon. I kept asking every week about my deposit. I was told they were working on it. I finally got my car back on April 2nd. But no deposit yet. I have been lied to every week since February by Tony Matthews. It is now end of May and still no deposit returned. I went to the dealership April 17th and spoke to Cole Conner (general manager) about all my problems and to show him that they had put the Buick emblem on upside down. He suggested that I go to the collision center and speak to Tony Haney ((manager) I went and asked to speak to him about Tony Matthews. while I was waiting Tony Matthews came out and asked if he could help me so I showed him the Buick emblem. He took my car to the shop. I waited 40 minutes for his boss. My car was ready so I left. I stopped by the showroom and told Cole that Tony Haney wouldn't speak to me. He apologized and walked away. I never did get my deposit back. I will never do business with them again.
Horrible customer service. My car has been there almost 2 months with very little communication. DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS
I had a great experience working with Mr. Jose Alvarez. When a tree fell on my car and he was the estimator working with my vehicle he was thorough and very responsive. He went above and beyond to take the pictures from the link I sent him and sent additional photos needed within 15 minutes of my claims adjuster reaching out. Whenever I needed to get in contact with him or anyone in the office they were friendly and helpful. He helped make a difficult situation the best it could be. Thank you again!
Tony Matthews is excellent to work with. He is responsive & reliable. I have worked with him several times with two different vehicles and he made sure everything was taking care of. I will definitely work with him again in the future for any car repair work and highly recommended him.

I had a really positive experience at Crown Collision Center. Their price was affordable for the work that needed to be done and Sean C. had great customer service. We went through the initial inspection together and discussed what exactly would be fixed. He kept an open line of communication to let me know of any additional damages that could not be seen from the naked eye. My car was ready for pick up in a week and the work looked good.
Had my vehicle repaired in the front and my windshield has 2 scratches on the drivers side that wasn't there and they didn't even clean the vehicle. I have purchased 4 vehicles from them and had repaired 2 previous vehicles from them and this time was the worst experience I received. When i came in the adjuster was like another one like he diddn't want to do it. I won't recommend them to anyone anymore.
Horrible, insulting service! repeatedly lied to us about it and he keeps pushing back the date the car will be done, and made up transparent lies to get out of it. Please save yourself!
Jose Alvarez was a tremendous help and a pleasure to deal with. It is never "fun" to have to visit a body shop, but Jose made the process painless and stuck to the timeframe and costs. He delivered my vehicle back to me in like-new condition. He took all of the stress off of me by dealing with the insurance company, so I didn't have to. Thank you Jose for being so great at your job!
WARNING- Do not take your car here. They will advise you that the estimate is free then charge you $250 admin fee and 50$/day storage fee(after never telling you the car is ready for pickup). Horrible customer service.
Got a quote late last year. Needed to order some parts from Canada which I did. Came back in Feb this year and they refused to do the job. Insufficient staff and vehicles lined up everywhere not getting fixed.
I had a really poor experience here. I came to Saint Pete as a travel nurse while Covid numbers were up and stayed there thru the summer until recently. I was hit in the parking lot of Publix while at a stop sign. A large truck with huge tow hitch hit the driver back corner hard enough for some stuff to break off underneath. I was physically ok and so was he. My truck was drivable. I reported the incident and planned to get it fixed in Georgia upon returning home as It seemed mostly cosmetic. Then after a few weeks my back hatch started singing as if it was going to open while driving. After a while it just dinged periodically then stop opening, so I decided to go get the whole thing fixed there in St. Pete. My estimator was Christina. I explained what brought me in. I also asked her to give me an estimate for a a long scratch caused by my uncles leaning curbside mailbox. She pointed out some wheel well covers were loose. I wanted to fix all three loose ones and paint the mailbox scratch on the passenger side, but that got lost somewhere. I felt like she didn't really hear anything I said and was a fast talker. I had some reservations, but made the appointment anyway against my better judgment. The appointment came and past. Then I heard from her. I told her that I had trouble getting the rental. I also reiterated that I was in Florida for work and couldn't miss it. After that call I immediately received an email reservation from enterprise. After voicing my concerns about my hatch, I was assured that they would tear down the hatch and assess it. If something was wrong they would add it to the claim for submission, but she was sure it was misalignment. Which I didn't believe, but I went with it. I came in to drop my car off and received these forms that said more fees would be added if I didn't pick up on time and pretty much they would add what's need to complete the repair. I made sure to say please don't add anything to my self pay claim without contacting me for approval. Sure enough soon as the car went in I got a call and something needed to be added to the self pay portion. I got my car back and the hatch wasn't fixed. I was told it was a motor. As a previous tech in the Navy with some IT and electronic knowledge who has troubleshooting experience with different electronics and gear on and and off the ship, I knew better. I only went to Crown Collision because I had such great experiences at Crown Nissan. I came in with a cashiers check for the exact amount I was told my self pay portion was. Apparently, my portion went down some. I was told I would receive a check with the refunded overpayment. I picked up my car on 2/26/22 and I have yet to receive my refund. If I were to do that with payment, I would have racked a million fees. I left there and then looked closely at the car only to see the broken piece wasn't replaced. Also it looked like lots of unnecessary parts were put on that weren't needed. Additionally, they didn't get my hatch working. I went to crown Nissan for a starter, and I also asked them to check the hatch. In less than 30 minutes I got an update, and the hatch was fixed much like I believed it was a sensor which I said at crown collision. Before leaving Florida, I went back to crown so they could put on the forgotten piece which was ordered after I pointed out it wasn't replaced. I also reminded them that I never received a check for my over payment. My estimator, Christina came to the desk and I told her I thought she ordered and replaced unnecessary parts. Which is apparent as she didn't even order and replace the part that was physically broken off the truck. Then I told her that the hatch was fixed in 15 mins. The tech identified the problem which is what I said to her on my initial visit. She then said well we can now send that over to the GEICO adjusters. Long story short I will never recommend nor use crown collision purely based off this experience. All I wanted was to repair or replace all lose wheel well covers or trim whatever it's call. It should have been 3 that were missing clips and needed replacement. They only did the passenger side. And forgot to replace the piece that broke off underneath my Armada.
If negative numbers were option that would still be too good for Crown, They are the worst of the worst lately. Employees took my cell phone for 30 minutes with out asking to the back room. They lost paperwork, lost appt, never called to update and then flat out lied about calling. I can not stress strongly enough to purchase /repair your cars at any other dealership/group.
Car was damaged and other driver's insurance sent us to crown. They did a great job and were very professional. We would recommend them to any one that needs body work done on their car.

It was nice to see that they were open on a Saturday. I called first thing in the morning to see about bringing in my car to have an estimate done. The gentleman on the phone was very pleasant and advised that I could come in at any time. I arrived a short while later on that Saturday morning where I filled out some paperwork and I was greeted by Christina who proceeded to check out the damage on my car and write up a preliminary estimate. Christina was extremely pleasant to deal with, but she did advise me that they were booking out into June and that they had over 130 cars on their lot at present waiting for repairs. Christina also advised me that I should call back on Monday and speak to Michelle as she was the dedicated estimator that dealt with my insurance company. I proceeded to call on Monday morning where I was greeted and then placed on hold. I waited on hold for literally 9 minutes after which I gave up and disconnected. I then proceeded to email Michelle in an effort to speed things along and get my repair moving forward. Since writing that email, I was able to work with my insurance claims adjustor to not only schedule a repair at another body shop for 7 days from now, but also get a rental vehicle lined up and go through the entire claims process. It's been about two hours and I've not yet received a response from Michelle. Seems this company is just too busy to obtain new customers at this point, or at least not with any acceptable level of customer satisfaction. I'm happy to take my business elsewhere.
Crown Collision is about as good as it gets for a place to have body work done on your vehicle. Very thorough, very professional, but most importantly they turned my twisted mess of metal rear quarter panel perfectly back into exactly how it looked as new. My service rep at Crown; Tatijana Abdoo provided great communication to me at every step of the repair. I highly recommend this shop!
Spoke to Christina and she was very nice and friendly. I had a good experience with getting an estimate from her and would not hesitate to do business with her to repair my vehicle
My husband and I want to give a shout out to Charles Bullock. He went over and beyond getting our car back to us for our vacation. Gia and Ray Ockuly
After my 2018 Jaguar incurred some damaged, I didn't think twice about taking my car to Crown Collision to get fixed. Charles Bullock was amazing over at Crown Collision. He helped make sure the entire process went smooth from start to finish, and followed up with me continuously to inform me of any important information. If I ever need my car repaired in the future, I will absolutely be taking it back to Crown Collision and ask for Charles again. GREAT COMPANY AND EVEN BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Dear "Steve" I also go by my middle name. Your time estimates are wrong, they didn't log it until I was already there for a half hour. I sat around for over an hour. She did NOT provide me with any estimate cheaper than $1168.17, and was incredibly rude! Your lack of customer service training and protocol is clear with this response filled with lies. I Called you back and left you multiple voicemails but you did not answer or return my call. I have replaced the bumper cover and mounting tab with guaranteed work and OEM parts at under $400 at another local shop. I am aware that you do offer such prices but only for people going through insurance companies, everyone else gets ripped off and is treated like garbage. Response to: 9/16/2019Dear "Alan", We appreciate your review and the feedback provided. I would welcome an opportunity to discuss the issues you raised and I have left a message at the number provided on the Customer Information Sheet you provided under the name Matt. Having said that, I did look at our records and the time estimates in our system suggest that you were actually here for less than 30 minutes. I also discussed your review with our staff in particular your Estimator Tatijana. Tatijana tells me that, upon inspection, she identified that the front bumper cover was damaged and the mounting tab was torn off on 1 side. She explained that it would need to be replaced and gave you an estimate for replacing the bumper cover; the estimate total was $1168.17. Tatijana did give you an option of attempting to repair which would be cheaper, just no guarantee the repair will work and hold forever and printed a copy of that estimate also. She tells that when she gave you both estimates, you saw the replacement estimate first with the total price off $1168.17, threw them down on the front counter and just left at that point. We would be happy to discuss the other repair option in more detail. Sincerely, Steve Lukas, Assistant Manager
I get my car service at Crown.Buick right next door so when I had to get my passenger rear view mirror fixed my agent said to take it there and they would have to accept what insurance paid. I went there first to get an estimate and the receptionist Taylor Faille was kind of harsh but I said well maybe it's just end of day.. I will give her the benefit of the doubt (Of course this is her ) I came back and received my estimate and to get a date for repair. My appointment was today 7/11/19 @4pm and I was there on time my agent Christina Perez was not available at my appointment time so another representative took my car back at approx 420pm. My encounter with the receptionist again ,Taylor Faille ,was not a pleasant one . She lacks any type of equate in speaking band dealing with people mostly of color . This entire establish lack MAJOR DIVERSITY. My car was taken back for repair and I happened to be walking around the building getting in my steps when I notice my car was being repaired with the engine still running and air condition on both front doors wide opened . I ask the technician why is the car still running and he stated oh you can cut if off !'n WTH. !! I asked him if I had not come by would the car still be running !! Totally NOT RIHGT! Then the shop foreman came over by the name of Robert Fava and then I asked him if they keep cars running while doing repairs and he stated the car just came over there. I said so you would have keep my car running and the he stated very angrily you can just go back up to the front!! I told him I did not have to go to the front of building and I will still be walking !! Period you can not tell me where to go!! 27 minutes car was done. Yes I put a timer on them . When I went back to the front and after 5 minutes sitting the car was driven back up. Christina Perez has my keys and I asked for them to look over the work. I went into the building to finish paperwork and ask for all parties names manager Steven Lucas which o left a voicemail message at 4:49pm and listen to Christina give her spill on warranty info which she has to state. At this point I really don't care to hear anytime and I am situated with this establishment lack of customer service ! The only decent person who addressed me correctly was Tatiama. I told them this establish lacks diversity and I do not care how Taylor addresses people on constant and repetitive basis!! I asked I will be putting in a formal complaint and letting The owner of Crown know how this person of color was treated !! There was NOT one black persons employed in the front office nor any repair technicians!! I know this is TRUMP NATIONl!! But you better come at me cler 7/23/19 I really can care less what you dispute !! No one ever called me so I could care less Bye the way I only read the first line . !! Good bye I already sent in a complaint to better business bureau !
Good job by Steve Lukas to make my recent repair work painless. They expedited processing my documents and helped me make an appointment on time. I have used them in the past and will do so in the future.
