Pulled off Northway to dealership after hitting object that damaged tire. Car was alarming that it was losing tire pressure. Was told crew was getting ready to go home and they could help me next week?!?!?!?! Very disappointed. Thankfully we made it to Mavis on Trieble Ave, where Zack took good care of us.

My recent car-buying experience at Lia Nissan of Saratoga Springs was truly exceptional. From the moment I met Steven Laffer, I felt a sense of comfort and trust that I've never experienced before. His genuine and caring demeanor, coupled with his honest approach, made the entire process incredibly relaxing. My daughter, who is typically shy and uncomfortable in these situations, felt completely at ease throughout just as equally with her car purchase last month. The entire team, including the sales manager and finance department, maintained the same welcoming and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend Lia Nissan of Saratoga Springs to anyone seeking a stress-free and enjoyable car-buying experience.Customer service is more than just a skill; it's a leadership philosophy. By consistently exceeding customer expectations, leaders cultivate lasting relationships, foster brand loyalty, and ensure continued success.Thank you, Lia Nissan of Saratoga and Steven Laffer#Stevenlaffer #lianissanofsaratoga #saratogalianissan #lianissan #carbuying #customerservice #Carsales #cardealershipexperience #saratogasprings #upstateny #carbuying #newcar #nissandelaership #nissansaratoga #saratoganissan #12866

Sean Burke was wonderful to us while we purchased a new Altima. He made sure we had the correct car for our needs. Very caring and went over everything the car has. I would highly recommend him.Larry George, 2-10-24

My girlfriend's latch on her hatchback had a problem and needed to be replaced. Brought it to them, and they charged her $500 just to replace the latch to the back door. She thought that was the end of it even though it was expensive, but that was just the beginning of the problems with this inept and unethical dealer. A little more than a year after that, the latch was again not working. Not only this, but very soon after she brought the vehicle to this dealership to fix, the car started having electrical problems associated with 1 side of the car and the latch they supposedly "fixed" with a "new part". Few months after that, about 3 months after their year "warranty ran out, the latch stopped working and the electrical system attached to it got even worse (spreading to problems with other of the car's doors as well). Took it back and explained, they said another almost $400 (' a special favor to us') for "labor" to fix it. By that time I said no, since it was obvious to me this was a shoddy unethical place. Car has gotten worse and worse, mostly connected to the electrical problems with that latch and the other car doors (on the same electrical controls). Instead of properly charging us and doing a proper repair job, they overcharged us and created a bigger problem than we originally had right before we brought the car to them. Paid $500 to have them further damage the car!!! Don't go to these thieves!

Dealerships are normally an absolute nightmare to deal with. The Nissan Dealerships close to my home in Long Island are all crooks. I found this dealership in while on vacation in Saratoga Springs and figured I would try to my luck. I was extremely lucky to have found Tim Simoni at Lia Nissan. The process was smoother than I ever thought possible. Tim made my nightmare situation disappear! I want to thank him and Chris Bucher for the excellent service and handling of my situation. I won't hesitate to come Back here for all future car needs, and highly suggest you do the same. If you're nervous about the car dealership - find Tim and you won't be sorry. Lia's dealership is doing it right!

What an amazing experience I had visiting Lia Nissan of Saratoga today. I went in to have my oil changed on my 2019 Sentra. I was concerned that my lease was coming due in April and wanted to just chat with someone quick about my possibilities and options. Well, what an amazing crew they have there. I drove off the lot, the same day, by 4:30 p.m. with a brand new Nissan Kicks. Brian Grady was caring, considerate, and knowledgeable. He listened to my needs. Had me test drive a vehicle he thought was what I was looking for. And told me he could help me get it that day if I wanted it. I sure did. It was perfect, loaded, but too steep for my budget, monthly. That wasn't a problem for them. He introduced me to their finance member and they wanted me to have the car and they worked with me on a solution until I had a payment that I could afford. He called my insurance company, He took care of the registration. He made sure I knew all the specifics of what was loaded onto the car. He let me see videos describing each one in detail. He hooked up the Android auto and made sure that I had no other questions and said he would follow up in 2 days. He would be there for me. He made an appointment, which was free of charge, in 3 months to go over the vehicle to make sure everything was in working order and asked me what time was good for me. I never had to worry about another thing with the car I drove in there with!! They took care of everything. I wish I could say I'd never seen anything like it but I received wonderful service 3 years ago when I went in and rented my first Nissan from them. All of them, Brian, Sean, Tim, Jason were amazing at putting someone at ease and brought a great feeling of relief to this single mom, that a burden had been taken from me. They are the best. Professional and excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

Incredible Customer Service from the Service Department!!!! Celeste Hill, Dan Haines, Chelsea Beyer went above and beyond the meaning of customer service. The Service team at this dealership is a class act and has set the bar for all service departments. I am extremely grateful for all of the work Celeste did to get me taken care of. To understand the situation, I was on vacation driving my GMC through Saratoga, New York when my brakes stopped working. Without hesitation Celeste got one of their techs involved to help understand the problem with my brakes. He knew immediately there was a Brake Booster Recall on my GMC Truck. Celeste, then after calling multiple dealerships, she found a GMC Dealer that had an opening to take my truck in for repair. Furthermore, she coordinated a tow truck to transport my truck to the GMC dealership. Once all of that was done, she handed me off to Chelsea Beyer so I could rent a vehicle from them and continue on my trip. Again, I am incredibly grateful for Celeste's efforts. What would have taken me several hours and a lot of frustration, she was able to accomplish in little to no time and she kept me at ease through the whole process. I basically handed my GMC problem off to a Nissan Service Advisor and said help me. Celeste is a consummate professional and Lia Nissan of Saratoga is lucky to have her.

Poor experience. They called me, to get me to end my current lease early and put me in a new vehicle. I advised them what I could pay and for what vehicle. They said they could do the deal. That is the only reason I agreed to an appointment. When I arrived for the appointment they advised me that they can not do what they agreed to. I feel as though their only intention was to get me into the dealership and up sell me. I acted with honesty and transparency. I feel as though they dis-respected me and acted deceitfully. I will never lease another vehicle from this dealer.

I signed papers and gave deposit with a specific payment. A car was going to be located and they would call me. After 10 days I started calling different dealers and the Saratoga Nissan again. Finally they found one, but not the color I wanted (think they knew the color I wanted wasn't available). Went to sign papers and the payment was $20. more. They put the loan through Nissan and Wells Fargo. I had asked to put it through SEFCU. The financial manager said he only got my credit report at 4:30 that day and everything was closed. I SIGNED THE PAPERS 10 DAYS AGO, not my fault. I told them to put the plates back on my car and the deal was off. Suddenly the original deal was good. I asked salesman, Josh, if the Rogue had digital speedometer and he said yes and pushed a button and assumed what I saw was the digital speedometer. What does NOT have a digital speedometer, what he pushed was Average Speed Control. What good is that? Also, I noticed no seat belt chime when not using my seat belt. I contacted the salesman and told him I don't like to wear my seat belt but realize i miss the chime. He said" well it's your lucky day then isn't it!" I told him it was the law. Like the Rogue but would NEVER purchase or refer a person to Lia Nissan in Saratoga.

Service staff not following social distancing guidelines. Service writer walking through dealership to cashier window without a face mask. Cashier not masked either. Same issue with last oil change in spite of my bringing this to the management's attention. Hard to believe this behavior during the pandemic !

If 0 strars were an option that what they would get! Brought a perfectly running car for a transmission pan replace. The useless service receptionist said you have a check engine light on (was not there before bringing in my car. They tried claiming it may need a new engine. (Are you f in serious) asked to run several tests to pad there bill and claimed even after test they still may not know. No follow up call, nobody knows the status of my vehicle. Useless, incompetent, scam artist! NEVER BRING YOUR VEHICLE THERE. little do they know my car has an audio recording system and recorded all conversations in and around my car. I will have the last laugh when I expose their company!

This place is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Do not be fooled by their reviews on other websites. I scrolled through the almost 500 reviews on another popular website, and the vast majority of reviews were written by people with less than 5 reviews, many having only 1 review! Hmm...Seems fishy! Especially when they have crappy yelp reviews! Lia Nissan engages in substandard customer service and outright lies to their customers regarding what repairs need to be made and when. Here's what happened: -My girlfriend bought a brand new Nissan Murano from Lia Nissan -Well within the 36,000 mile warranty, my girlfriend mentioned an issue with a sensor in her vehicle -Lia assured her that they would repair the issue when they did separate work for a mandatory recall (car still under warranty at this point) -Lia made no such repair -Once out of warranty, Lia offers to fix the problem for about $120 to diagnose the issue and $1,000 for a new sensor (ha...ha...ha...) Now, the sensor doesn't impact her driving experience that much. Her vehicle cannot be put into cruise control and an annoying notification pops up from time to time. What's important here is not the impact on her driving experience but rather how remarkably terrible the customer service is at this dealership. They are dishonorable, dishonest, untrustworthy and incompetent. I would strongly encourage anybody looking for a vehicle at this Lia location or any other location to consider any other company that takes better care of its customers.

Interesting that the only "good" reviews are from before 2017. We have two Nissan vehicles and have engaged Lia Nissan for service on both. My wife's 2020 Rogue had a slow leak of oil or oily fluid and the car had 1200 miles on it. On the first visit for this, we were told the repair would need to be scheduled, the car left for more than one day, and a loaner vehicle would be provided. The repair could not be scheduled for ten days. When I arrived to leave the car and pick up the loaner, I was informed that a mistake was made and all loaner vehicles were out. At the end of the day, I checked to see if a loaner was available and was told my car was ready, the leak was caused by the factory "overfilling the crankcase". Very skeptical that this issue is fixed My 2018 Frontier had a recall and was due for inspection. I made an appointment for both and was told it would only take an hour. Within thirty minutes I was informed that the inspection failed because the front brakes were "metal on metal". With only 21000 miles on the vehicle, I expected a warranty replacement. That expectation was dismissed, and I was told the mechanic said the brakes were not seized and the wear was because I must be "riding the brakes." Driving for a living, I assured them I do not but they wouldn't budge. I bought new pads and rotors, and on disassembly found the pads on both sides frozen. In addition, as I left the dealership that day, the truck started a severe grinding noise. From experience, I immediately knew it was loose lug nuts. Brought it back, they fixed it but no apology at all. So, those are the facts. I certainly would not recommend the service department to any Nissan owners, and prospective buyers- beware.

Worst decision ever was getting a car from here. So happy to have gotten out of my lease early. Salesman straight up lied about features my car had multiple times and had no idea what he was doing. Surprise he doesn't work there anymore. Place is a rip off - and do not care about customers AT ALL!

Avoid if you're getting your vehicle inspected. What kind of business tries to charge you to replace windshield wipers in order to let your vehicle pass instead of sending you out to buy them for a fraction of the cost and replace them yourself? Also beware of the air filter scam (bringing a dirty-looking air filter to the service desk for maximum effect). Changing an air filter literally involves pulling the old one out and replacing with a new one - if it really even needs replacement. On the upside, they did give me a loaner car for a few days when it took longer than anticipated to fix something.

Place is a total fucking rip off!!!! First of all the engine lite was on within 2 weeks& when i called them they said they weren't gonna fix it....but after some aggression they did....my trade in was only 500.....the down payment was ridiculous....the van came with only one key& found out later it had no spare....the air pressure lite stayed on....MY WIFE ENDED UP IN A ACCIDENT& THE VAN WAS TOTALED....BUT MY WIFE WAS OK.....THE LOAN CAME FROM WELLS FARGO WHO WOULDN'T LET ME PAY ON THE 1st....And they just rushed me off when i basically signed my life away....STILL PISSED AFTER ALL THIS TIME& IT BEING FAMILY OWNED I CAN SEE WHY

We called in advance to see a used van and were assured that it would be there for us to test drive when we could get there, which was 3 days away. No request of a deposit or that it would be any issue to hold it. We drove an hour and a half to test the van. Our intention was to purchase that van and drive it home that day (barring any major flaws in the test). As we were walking out to where the van was waiting, we were told that we were actually test driving a different van because the one we intended to purchase had been transferred to a different dealership. What he wanted us to test was very different; different features, different color and more miles. When we wouldn't go any further until we knew the price, he had to go and "check" on the price because he didn't have that information readily availabe. Surprise...it was also more money. He then assured us that this was not a bait and switch (his words - they must be aware of their reputation). He tried to pressure us into testing this other van, which we declined. Since we they had no other vehicle that we were interested in, we were just leaving. He then pressured us to go and talk to the Sales Manager instead. When I asked him why I would bother, I was told it was so that no other customer would have the same experience. We drove all that way (after my husband took off the day from work) just so we could dodge their bait and switch. The whole thing was shady from start to finish. I wish I'd checked their rating before we went through all of that. If I had, I would have seen that this is clearly their business model.

We purchased a vehicle at the end of March (?) With in the first week my vehicle was at the shop because of a very noticeable issue with the transmission. It needed to be taken to a certified Honda dealer to have the issue fixed. (Thank god it was covered under Honda's warranty) I'm not sure how the service department couldn't tell their was an issue, my 8 year old could tell. I purchased the car with a dent on the passenger side door which they said they would try and fix but we had to bring it back at another time. I have 3 kids so unfortunately not an easy task and the dent was never fixed (my bad). The car was in less that 2 weeks ago to their service department for it's "check up" or whatever they call it... they washed it and topped the fluids... so basically they did nothing. Now my electric door is broken, coincidentally the same door with the dent. When I called they nicely told me, too bad there isn't anything they can do. Cool, thanks. Great customer service (insert sarcasm). I was told I can bring it to their service department to have it looked at. You mean the same service department that couldn't tell the transmission had an issue? No thanks. I wouldn't recommend this place for a used vehicle. Least helpful people I have ever dealt with and obviously the people in the service department aren't doing their job. Update: I've now emailed 3 people in regards to my issue and I've gotten no response....

Drove 2 hours one way to look at a vehicle that wasn't even at the lot..... had communicated with them and set up and appointment to look at the car for that day and was never notified it was gone...Then they tried to push us into two vehicles that was a year older and looked like an absolute dumpster on the inside .... not cleaned or detailed ($30,000 pathfinders) when I told them I was displeased they then told me they would get me the car I wanted... (that was gone) fair enough... went to sit and discuss numbers was rushed and had no time to discuss any numbers.... they wanted us to sign papers on a car that they didn't even own yet, when we told them we will not be signing papers on a vehicle that we hadn't seen and wasn't on the lot the sales man then stuck his hand out and condescendingly said "looks like we won't be making a deal then" I've never been so insulted in my life and wouldn't recommend anyone wasting your time

I purchased a pre owned 2015 Nissan Murano last year. We drove 4+ hours for this specific car with certain features and waited in the dealership for 6 hours to complete the paperwork. For the last 2 hours we were told countless times that we were waiting on the detailing and service dept for the car to be cleaned. Hours and hours and we asked for them to check since we had a long drive back. The second I got in the car after waiting all day I said immediately to the salesman that the car was dirty.. it wasn't cleaned at all but it was 5pm and we had our 2 year old with us all day. Got in and drove home aggravated. Not only did they lie to our faces about the detailing, I took pictures the next day and emailed them to every dept there showing how disgusting this car was. Seat back pockets full of crushed up crackers, dirty console, smelled of someone's cologne. Plus there was a mysterious rolling ball sound coming from the car every time I stopped or turned that didn't make a peep during the test drive. The pictures were bad enough that they sent someone 4 hours away in a rental to come take the car back down to be serviced and detailed. In my opinion the absolute bare minimum was done and the car brought back. Skip to a year later, the entertainment system is on the fritz, window track gets stuck, found out that a speaker was blown and the incessant rolling sound never let up. Took the car to Davidson Nissan for service and they updated the screen display, fixed the speaker, said the window track was so dirty that they cleaned it and was fixed, plus! Found not 1 but 2 golf balls rolling around in the tracks of the seats. A fail on all counts. Failed salesman lying to us that the holdup was our car being detailed, failed service department on doing absolutely nothing to prepare this vehicle to be sold. Failed manager who didn't do everything in their power to fix it because even after the car was taken back we found kids bracelets under the seat and goldfish crackers and now golf balls. Do yourself a favor and literally go anywhere else if you can.

Our experience at Lia Nissan was less than wonderful. We purchased a 2015 Frontier on Friday, 6/1, and paid for the vehicle in full. They told us there was an issue getting the lien release, but they expected it shortly. Our salesman, Joe Chase, said if they got verbal confirmation from Nissan Financial that the lien had been lifted, they would transfer our plates and put the temp. registration on the truck. They gave us a rental Rogue for our troubles, said they would deliver the truck straight to our home- by all accounts, I was led to believe this was a short-term problem. The following Monday, around 3pm, I emailed Joe and asked about our truck. No answer to this day. I called and spoke to Chris Bucher, who told me "Nothing came in the mail today, maybe tomorrow!" He said that Nissan Financial did not overnight lien releases, which I found out later to be a lie. This carried on for days, and on Wednesday, the Sales Manager Tim told me "We gave you the Rogue to drive, we have THIRTY DAYS to release the vehicle to you." Have you ever heard of such a thing!? He was dismissive and annoyed with me. We paid $23,000 total for this truck, of course I'm getting upset! We don't need a Nissan Rogue SUV, we need a TRUCK! With some help from a previous Nissan dealership Sales Manager, she explained that they had no right to hold my vehicle hostage, and that worst case scenario that they could throw dealer plates on it. After contacting Lia Cars corporate, Nissan Corporate, Lia Nissan in Colonie, and reaching out online, a week later on 6/7 at 1pm, I walked in and demanded my truck. I recorded the conversation. Chris Bucher kept telling me it was not possible to give us the truck, and yet, after putting my foot down, explaining what I knew they could or could not do, and that I wouldn't leave without the truck, I was driving away (with my OWN plates, not dealer plates) at 2:30- an hour and 1/2 later. They held my truck hostage for a week, didn't even clean it out as we found items from the previous owner in it, and their how many point inspection is BS- we found a zip-tied bracket under the bed fender well. You just had to bend over 45 degrees and there it was! Oh, and a day after I paid for this truck in full, I found that they had posted a video on YouTube advertising it for sale. I would not recommend this dealership at all. What kind of dealership holds a vehicle for a week, making excuse after excuse about why they cannot give it to you?

If you have ever read any of my reviews you know I am tough on customer service. So right now all I can say is Lia Nissan of Saratoga blew me out of the water with their excellent customer service!! Here's the story. It's Friday, I realize my rear tail light is out...I have a Subaru. So I call Subaru dealers to see if they can get me in after work or tomorrow morning. But I was having no luck, every service center I called was too busy to get me in. So I made an appointment for next Thursday after work and crossed my fingers I wouldn't be pulled over by the police before then. Then I thought I'll given Nissan a call because I pass by there on my way home. The excellent customer service started right then. I spoke to a wonderful man named Robb, who was so great that I think I even said "I love you," when he said "no problem stop in before 6pm and we'll see what we can do." I get there and talk with Kyle and Celeste, who couldn't have been more friendly. Then Celeste says let me take a look at it. Right then I was blown away. So this beautiful, smart & kind woman/mechanic has me pull the car in. And with in 10 minutes the bulb is changed! I couldn't even handle how great they were. When I really see bad customer service in so many places. This place gets my vote!! I drive a Subaru, but now I'm thinking about driving a Nissan!! Thanks, you made my week!!!

I came in looking for a newer vevhile and told the credit manager in the beginning I was rebuilding my credit and did not want multiple credit reports pulled hw,assured me he would not foundbiut today he pulled multiple credit reports and hurt my credit rating. I as told I was approved when I came in to get my new vevhile the sales man wanted the deposit from me I gave him4000 in cash wentninro the finance office to find out they added 5000 to my purchase price blaming the bank required an expensive extended warrantee it put my payment 50% higher then quoted and a 20% interest rate my way they are more concerted about a deal then listening to thecustomer feel like I was taken advantage of and mislead from the start if I can get a loan ok I'll go elsewhere but at least be honest with the customer

This was my first time experiencing a car sale. We test drove other cars, but none compared. Bryce, our salesman, was incredible. He went over every aspect of the car, and was great at making sure we knew everything about the car. If you want the best salesman, and a great new car, go to Lia Nissan of Saratoga!! You won't regret it!!

We brought our car in to be fixed, they kept it for almost 2 months, did tons of work without our permission, then charged us almost $3000. The parts and labor were under warranty, but when the car broke down a few weeks later they fought us on it and then declared that they were not held liable for it, even though the part that malfunctioned is one of the parts they replaced. We are currently disputing the charges. These people have taken advantage of us and have lied to us; we even took it to another mechanic that said that they didn't do everything they claimed to do. Lia even failed me for an inspection, despite telling me the week before that it would pass. I took it to another mechanic the next week and he passed it, saying there was absoutely nothing wrong with it. He also gave us an oil change, somethng else we were told Nissan did "complimentarily". Their service department is a circus, they have gone through three service managers since we brought the car in originally. Do not trust these people they will rob you and tell you that you're on your own if you try to hold them responsible to their warranties.

I went here on 2 occassions, the first was right around closing time on a Saturday my boyfriend and I were walking the lot as we knew they would be closing up soon but were just starting to look and wanted to get some ideas. One of the managers (Steve) greeted us and made us feel very welcome even though he was staying late for us. He was accommodating and answered all of our questions. I went back about a week later and worked with Michelle, she let me test drive numerous cars to narrow down my search and I had a blast doing it with her! She was fun and understanding. I also explained my Mom would be looking soon and she even let me test drive some to give my mom ideas (out of my price range but Mom would be interested) after numerous test drives and a great experience as I was leaving that day I thanked her profusely for her professionalism. I loved her answer "we are low pressure, We just want you to be happy and make the right decision for you". I did end up buying somewhere else (I was also happy there) but it was solely based upon the fact they had the car I was looking for. I felt guilty going somewhere else and not working with Lia or Michelle. I got a great value for my trade and was greatly pleased with the service. I highly recommended them and Michelle to my Mom and will continue to recommend to anyone in the market for a new car!

I just traded in my 2002 Nissan pathfinder at lia Nissan in Saratoga and financed a 2014 Nissan xterra....no complaints so far...the sales person Bryce Wells who assisted me in my purchase was excellent.... He worked with me on my decisions and did not push me to buy something I didn't want like some sales people do. He was friendly and worked with me on getting a great deal for the vehicle I financed...so of your looking for a new vehicle and you go there I recommend asking for Bryce Wells...you won't regret it ...

My sales person, Steve was great, however I did not have a great experience with the Finance department! A woman from the finance department called me to talk about the great rate she got me and that for only a couple dollars more I could have the additional coverage on the used certified car I wanted to purchase. I was excited until I went in to her office to sign the paperwork only to find the payment was higher that we had agreed on and they added on 3 more months of payments to my loan, without every mentioning it. Luckily I noticed it on the contract before signing!! There was definite miscommunication on her part! Left a bad taste in my mouth about any future dealing with the Lia Nissan finance department.

Two experiences: 1. Bought a Nissan Rogue. They had the model, color and price I wanted. I had financing arranged. I walked in, drove it and bought it. The only part that wasn't great was when the salesman wanted us to fill out paperwork for his credit department. Uh, we've got the financing at a great rate and I don't want another inquiry hitting my report to ding my score. Overall, though, I knew what I wanted. I knew what I would pay. And I was out of there in one day with my new car. 2. Recall repair. Super easy to book online. I got a bit of push when it came to the 'what else do you need' questions that I declined a few times in a row, but overall, the work was quick and free and the WiFi was strong. Can't say I've ever loved going to a dealership for anything but this one is the closest to likeable as I've found.

Steven Laffer was great. Thorough and professional but not pushy. After looking at several cars at different dealers I decided on an Altima from Lia!

I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and inspection. After a 2 hour wait I was informed that the vehicle would not pass inspection due to a torn windshield wiper. The wipers could be replaced at my expense of $30.00 I was also told that the rear windshield was completely torn and unusable but was not included in the $30.00 replacement fee. I was also informed of a mouse nest in my air filter canister. This could be removed for the cost of $39.00. I refused the offer and explained that I would take the vehicle to another inspection center for inspection. I was laughed at and told "if you have the time to waste, go right ahead". I paid my $10.00 partial inspection fee and brought my vehicle to another inspection center where it was determined that ALL of my windshield wipers were perfectly fine ( I replaced the wipers 4 months prior) and that there was NO mouse nest in the air filter canister. This appears to be a blatant attempt to pressure me into purchasing something that was not necessary for monetary gain on the dealer's part. I also took photos of the wipers directly after my visit with Lia Nissan dealership that shows no such tear. I stayed calm and professional during the entire ordeal although I realized what was happening. A complaint was registered with the state of New York.

I own a 2006 Pathfinder that I have been taking to this Nissan dealer for many years. The ownership switched to Lia and the Service department has tried to rip me off 3 three times since Lia has owned it. My airbag light has come on 4 times since I owned the vehicle. The old service department told me it is because I put heavy bags on the passenger seat and the sensor turned off the airbag incase the weight was from a child. When I had my larger scheduled services they would reset it for me. The last time I set it off Lia told me that the prior evaluation was wrong and the light means way more than that and they wanted to me to pay over $200 to fix it. I waited until the next service, the light was reset and I have driven over 25000 miles without the light coming on because I have remembered to not put anything on the passenger seat. Last summer (2013) I had to buy 2 sets of tires last year because of nails and a slice in a tread. I told the service department that I was going to drive this vehicle for a long time and wanted good tires that would last and be good in the snow. The tires are terrible. They slip when the roads are wet and with the slightest amount of snow on the road. I have driven in the snow my whole life ( I am almost 60) and I have never had tires as bad as these. They were the most expensive tires I have ever purchased and I am afraid to drive on them in incliment weather with wet or snowy conditions. The tread is still great. The tires suck. This fall I had a noise coming from the rear of my vehicle. When I took it to Lia Nissan they told me I needed new tires (mine are a year old) new brakes, an alignment, and right rear wheel bearings. $1600. When I asked how I could need tires and brakes when I had just had an inspection elsewhere 2 weeks prior and nothing was said to me about the tires or the brakes being bad, they told me that my vehicle was unsafe to drive home and I should get it all repaired before leaving the dealership. I left anyways. My local mechanic said my brakes were like new. My tire tread was good and charged me $600 for the repair of the wheel bearings and another part that was needed with the bearings that Lia did not tell me about. I did not need an alignment. I will never go to Lia Nissan again. Not only has this cost them my service business we have just purchased a 2015 Tundra instead of a Nissan. A wise choice based on experience and the bad ratings the Nissans are now getting. If you want a Nissan be wise and choose another dealer other than Lia.

This review is purely for a sales department experience. Note- 4 stars is probably as high as I would ever ever go for a dealership and rarely do I go into one that is worth that rating. Personally I think all dealerships are a bit slimy, so you have to be a smart consumer going in otherwise you are going to get screwed. Review- We went into Saratoga Nissan for a test drive. Salesperson was nice, not pushy. Went and got a specific car off the lot we wanted to see. He was good at his job, knowledgeable for a salesperson. Dealership itself is also very nice.
