I would like to tell you about the recent car purchase I made at Crown Hyundai. When I arrived, I was greeted by a sales person named Mike Tan. It was the first time I’ve ever been greeted at a car dealer with an attitude of, how can I help you. As opposed to, “what are you looking to buy?” Throughout the entire process of deciding on what automobile we wanted to see, we were treated with the upmost kindness, consideration, and respect that I’ve ever received at any car dealer in my entire life. Mike was not aggressive or pushy. For that reason we end up buying a 2026 Hyundai Palisade. As I said, we were very pleased with the entire process from start to finish. Purchased a used Hyundai Kona with extremely low mileage that I found on line. Kenny Sweet was professional and informative. Car was for my daughter who is heading off to college and we had a lot of questions about safety features. Kenny was patient very helpful. He even arranged to have items shipped to us that were not in the car. We discovered that they were missing when we got home. From start to finish the experience was great. We traveled two hours to this dealership and it was well worth it. The only concern I had was during the financing portion. Everything was on an iPad. Would prefer to have everything on paper to review and discuss before signing documents. Vinny Zeitler handled the finance portion. He did answer all my questions and listed out all of the extra items with pricing so I could write them out and make an informed decision. Except for the method of signing documents, it was a great first experience purchasing a vehicle at Crown Hyundai in Saint Petersburg, FL. Kenny Sweet and his team were great!

This place is a joke. Especially, Austin McWhorter - sales consultant. Buddy scheduled a meeting with me to see a truck, was supposed to get me a trade-in estimate on my current vehicle. Instead, the car sold and Austin never reached out to inform me NOR did he reply to me when I asked for the trade-in estimate multiple times. Austin is lazy, unprofessional, and a joke of a salesman.

Out of town buyer. Asked tons of questions and held a FaceTime call too. Even though the car was on their lot for almost 2 months, they refused to negotiate the price. They even raised the asking price $1k after we started talks. Didnt tell me it had been smoked in -even though I asked, while expressing personal allergy/health sensitivities. Did not mention pets either, even though there's pet hair all over the carpet. Did not even have the decency to mention it was missing a 2nd key fob ($700 to replace at the dealer). I would not do business with them again, avoid.
