I'll be honest I wasn't keen on driving up here for my complimentary oil change bc it's constantly a struggle (first world problems) since it was advertised I would get it for two years for purchasing from them, but today's Service rep, Sergio, saw the root cause of the confusion and cleared my problem and gave me paperwork to prove my complimentary service package so that I no longer should be questioned about it. This puts me at ease because car dealerships always have a bad wrap for taking advantage of people (especially women) but, Sergio did what someone with great work ethic would do, not just give me my complimentary service after confirming my previous service was honored, he investigated the reason and took the proper steps so that it would no longer be a hassle. That gave me great relief. Thank you.

They stripped the drain plug during an oil change, which I only noticed after coming home and seeing stains on my driveway. They have extremely young and inexperienced staff performing lower end work so buyer beware. Additionally, every time I come there they claim to find a new problem which is simply a money-grab for those who aren't mechanically inclined. Avoid this place if you can help it.

This is a shop that will sell the promise of good service, but the moment you've purchased a car with a deal on services, they will reneg and treat you with apathy and disrespect. I have been jostled and moved around without respect to my time. The man who was supposed to be assisting me frankly seemed to be struggling a bit. There are so many Toyota dealerships to work with, please don't make my mistake and go somewhere... anywhere else. To Toyota, you have already screwed up, please don't bother responding. Edit: forgot to add they didn't fix the problem I had asked them to address in addition to the oil change, down to one star.

I just had my car's 10K mile service done at Lia Toyota, and it was easily the best service experience I've ever had, previous vehicles included. I booked the appointment online, Ralph Russo helped me to check in and booked a (free) Lyft ride for me. I decided to go to the Palisades Center and 90 minutes later, I got a call to say my car was ready, and Ralph booked another (free) Lyft to take me back to Lia Toyota. I will definitely return for all my future services!

Just bought a Prius from these guys. I did my research, found a car I liked listed on the website, called these guys and put down a deposit to secure the car. The car came in ~4 weeks later and I picked it up yesterday without issues and paid exactly what we agreed upon when I put down the deposit. Fitz/Guillermo are stand up guys - I came in with an out the door price on paper and they didn't try to sell me any addons or anything I didn't want. Very happy customer.

Usually I would bought cars with my family at my local Toyota dealer in Connecticut, but due to shortage not many cars were at MSRP. Fitzroy Crooks made it worth the hour and a half drive. Everything was clearly communicated, he even surprised my sister with a graduation bow. Great services, no overselling, or miscommunication, quick and simple. I be looking to come back next year.

Lia Toyota was my first experience with a Toyota dealer. I was interested in a test drive of a Tundra. The salesman explained that there is extremely limited inventory and you need to be at the dealership when the trucks arrive. Two days later, the dealer called me and said a truck was arriving that day. I explained that I was in upstate NY and could be there the following day. The salesman told me he would let me know if the vehicle sold. I then drove 3 hours to the dealership only to be told the vehicle was sold. I left the dealership angry, only to receive a call from the sales manager "victor" telling me that there was a mistake and the vehicle had not sold. I returned to the dealership, looked over and test drove the truck. It was a beautiful truck! The salesman went over the features and let me know that the MSRP was $65,000 but they were selling it for 10k over MSRP @$75,000. This is after the dealer told me they were ordered to take care of Rockland County residents. 10k over MSRP is blatant price gouging. I would hate to see the price if I resided outside of Rockland haha! I will never step foot in a Lia dealership and I do not suggest you do.

I was fortunate to work with Chris Truong at Lia to buy a Rav4Prime. He was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to my calls within hours. He continues to be helpful and answers my questions about the car weeks after we drove it home. I highly recommend Lia and Chris in particular who has softened my perception of car salespeople. Thank you Chris!!

Lia Toyota of Rockland is the most dishonest unorganized dealership I have ever tried to buy a car from. I put through a inquiry for a car on their web site. Big mistake I gave them my phone number. When I was called I asked if the vehicle was on their lot, the msrp and out the door price. I let them know I was only interested that particular model. They made me an appointment for their "72 hour VIP sale" (what a joke). When I got there they didn't have the vehicle and was told they have a different vehicle. I was also told there is a premium over the msrp of several thousand dollars. The deal is they think that if they can get you into the dealership they can sell you anything they want not what you came in for. Oh by the way the car I was interested in was still on their web site even though they don't have it.

Very disappointed! I tried for two days to get in touch with someone about purchasing a vehicle. I asked to speak to a sales manager and then they gave me someone named Fitz who said he was a manager. He was inpatient and was annoyed when I explained how I've been trying to speak to someone. He raised his voice and said "excuse me" and was offended. He refused to let me speak to someone else. I hope you record phone calls!

Lia Toyota of Rockland may as well change their name to LIAR Toyota if they continue to employ the Director of Service Operations at the dealership. That individual is a pseudo sophisticated, intellectually sterile bully, who likes to make idle threats. He should be relegated to just washing cars, if not terminated, by Sr. Management and the Owners. It is not surprising that he appears to have the worst on-line reviews on the website from customers, a mere 2 stars. My Toyota Tacoma was approved to have the rusted frame replaced. I was told that the process would take about a week. The truck had just over 78,000 miles on it and was in excellent operating condition when I delivered to Lia Toyota. During the frame replacement, I was asked if I wanted to have the front shock/strut assemblies and the rear shocks replaced for $1,200. They had already been replaced recently and were fine, so I declined that offer. After 2 weeks of work, I was notified to pick up my vehicle. Upon arrival and inspecting it before leaving, the CHECK ENGINE Warning light and Slip indicator dashboard lights were both illuminated. The service rep was shown the warning lights, and my truck was brought back into the shop, since I said there were NO diagnostic trouble codes registered when the vehicle was initially brought in for the frame replacement. A mechanic eventually reported that an emission system hose had been mistakenly left off and was reinstalled. I was given a list of the four (4) diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) that were found because of this error, and the codes were cleared. The truck was driven a total of 8 miles, and the CHECK ENGINE light and the SLIP warning indicator light both reappeared. The truck was immediately brought and I was eventually called while I was traveling out of State and told that it needed to have the emissions canister replaced at a cost of over $860, and that it was not warrantied, and I would have to pay for it. I asked to speak with someone in charge because I said the emissions code problems were created by the mechanics when the frame was replaced and was not a pre-existing condition. I was then connected to Mr. Peter Vaccaro, the Director of Service. During our conversation he was obnoxious, condescending and belligerent. He constantly interrupted and talked over me, saying that this was not warrantied. I attempted to explain multiple times that it had nothing to do with the emissions warranty, but that the system was damaged during the frame replacement work done by Lia, especially since many of the system hoses and components were disconnected during the process, and not correctly reattached. I was out of state on business and traveling in a car and we were suddenly disconnected. Mr. Vaccaro called back and left the following voice mail message: "Mr. L, this is Peter Vaccaro, we were speaking on the phone before you so rudely hung up on me. I just want to let you know that your vehicle is here, and it is completed. I'll give you to 5:00pm this evening to pick it up. If you do not pick it up to pick it up by 5pm, at 5:01 pm I will contact the local PD and inform them that our loaner car has been stolen and we will report it as such. Your vehicle is ready to be picked up now so we are not going to be doing anything further on it, and if you would like to speak with Toyota directly, feel free to do so, and they can advise you of whatever they wish. But as far as this dealership is concerned, we are done with the vehicle, and we are not doing anything further, it is waiting for you to pick up. You do have until 5 pm today to pick it up, if it is not picked up, I reiterate, I must report the vehicle that you're using as a loaner, you are now using it as a stolen vehicle. You are now after 5pm using it without authorization and therefore it's considered a stolen vehicle. This is something that is not covered by Toyota, it is an internal problem in that part, and when we own something goes bad we must take responsibility for it. If I do not hear from you I by 5 pm will take the appropriate action. Bye." Upon returning home, I contacted the Gen Mgr who was away, so unfortunately Peter Vaccaro replied in an email to: Mr. L. I am forwarding your documents to our legal department. I gave you till 5pm to pick up your vehicle and at this time we have contacted our local police department to report the loaner as unauthorized use. We replaced the Frame in your vehicle and you have a emissions part that has failed internally. We take no responsibility for this part and direct you to pick up the vehicle immediately and allow it to take its legal course. No further action will be taken to repair your vehicle. P. I would give Lia Toyota of Rockland 0 stars if I could. This particular dealership is an absolute disgrace and tarnishes Toyota's reputable name. Let me preface this by saying I have been a loyal Toyota owner for over 15 years and will continue to be just not with this dealership. I have been calling for weeks regarding the Toyota Cross. Every time I call I have been provided misinformation regarding when this model is coming in to how many models of this car are available when calling an hour before arriving. I was told there were three models available, and I show up and one is there but sold. In addition, to make matters worse, you should know that this dealership has the nerve to tell you that you will have to pay thousands above the sticker price. When I spoke to the manager, he told me they usually charge $7,000 above asking price, but if I buy a new car there, then he will charge only $5,000 above asking price. I responded that other Toyota dealerships do not charge thousands of dollars above sticker price to which he responded, "I never said they did." So, there you have it...an arrogant admission of guilt in terms of deliberately overcharging buyers for pure greed. I suggest you go to ANY Toyota dealership that isn't this hot mess of corruption unless you enjoy paying thousands of dollars above sticker price for a new car for absolutely no reason. A disgusting excuse for a dealership that is corrupt in its practices and does not put the interest of its customers first.

The purchasing experience of my Tundra TRD Pro 2021 track was made very smooth. The sales manager Dennis Acosta was very quick to follow up with my inquiry, made the whole process speedy and convenient. I had to drive 300+ miles from Upstate and he met me earlier at the dealership to finalize the sales. Again, my experience was excellent. This particular track was a rare thing nowadays to find, so having it reserved and secured for me (that which was not made possible when I was trying to buy the same track earlier from other dealerships in New England area) the day before I came, made the long distance drive worthy for me. Francisco Marquez the salesman was very helpful as well, through whom the whole process was initiated. He was the one who helped me to locate the vehicle, which I was looking for and the next day gave me a thorough assistance with preparing the track. One of the accessories was not available at the dealership, but Mr. Acosta was very helpful (as well as Francisco Marquez) by ordering and shipping that part which had arrived to my home shortly after. Thank you very much for the track, purchasing which was made very pleasant.

RUN AWAY FAST!!!! I went in last week and offered the sales person FULL PRICE MSRP on a brand new Toyota RAV4 prime of which they had plenty in stock. Salesman went to the manager the manager came out proceeded to tell me no. Didnt even ask if I had a trade or anything else. Let me walk right out and leave. Pretty shocking. I was dead set on a new Tacoma until my wife and I got really excited about the Rav 4 Prime. But 51k for a 46k car and driving off a lot already upside down is crazy to me. I heard Toyota has a new Tacoma coming out that's gonna be a plug-in hybrid I got pretty excited about that too So, in a strange sense if I do end up getting this Lexus UX I almost hope I don't like it so in a couple years I'll trade it in for the tacoma... But not at this dumpster fire of a car dealership Because I know it'll be overpriced and by overpriced I mean priced over MSRP. Who knows maybe they probably coulda talked me into a Tacoma if they had bothered to try. But they literally did less than nothing. Pathetic excuse for a car dealer. I can only imagine how crooked the service dept must be if that is the managers position on selling new vehicles. Probably better I walked out

I had an emergency situation with my driver's side window, I could not open it because it was off the track. I drove it to the Toyota dealership and Ralph Russo took care of it for me and also arranged to have a car take me to my home while I waited for the repair to be completed. I was very pleased with the quality of the service and so grateful they were able to complete the work in a few hours, even though they were very busy. Thank you Ralph.

I went for regular maintenance check-up at Lia Toyota of Rockland Services, as usual I looked for Mr. Hemant Saraiya. He is very consistent, helpful, and efficient in all that he does to provide wonderful assistance in what the car needs! He also is very reasonable in cost to help maintain the car to extend the car's longevity. He knows how to assist the customer in mind and caring way. Please look for Hemant the next time you come for maintenance or repairs for your Toyota!! He is a great and kind person who will take care of you and your car! Thank you, Hemant!!

Hemant Saraiya was very courteous and up front about my repair needs. Even though my repairs were extremely expensive and extensive, he made sure to lay out the details before me so that I could make an informed decision. I've been servicing my 2012 Camry at Lia Toyota for a few years and I have been satisfied every time. I'm looking forward to possibly upgrading into a new vehicle and Lia Toyota will be my first stop when I start my search. Plus, they are military veteran friendly and I have been thanked for my military service numerous times here.

Worst experience ever. After agreeing on price and giving deposit they kept trying to up the price when I went to pick up car. After three times of their "mistake" I threatened to leave and they miraculously had correct number we agreed on. Took them weeks to send bill of sale & window sticker to insurance company, they assured me it was done day I picked up car, it was not. after several calls to the dealership from my insurance company & myself it was finally completed. I would stay as far away from this place as possible

My daughter bought her first certified used car from Lia Toyota. What a great experience. The used car manager, R.J. Arditti made it a wonderful experience for my daughter. Her sales person, Arielle Prall was wonderful also, very knowledgeable and informative. The Finance office, especially Reggi was great and got her a great interest rate. I would recommend them highly.

I recently had the worst experience at Lia Toyota and I hope that by sharing, others can be spared. In August we leased a brand new 2020 Corolla from Lia. Not quite three weeks later we found defined condensation on the front side windows which blocked the side mirrors creating a safety issue. I called the service department, explained the situation and was given an appointment the next day with a reserved courtesy car. Sean agreed that we shouldn't ignore such issues, especially with a new vehicle and that the HVAC system should be looked into. My daughter arrived on schedule the next morning and what should have taken 5 minutes was still ongoing an hour and a 1/2 later. No less than 3 servicemen at the counter proceeded to belittle her claims of a problem- going so far as to condescendingly point to different buttons and tell her, ever so slowly, how they work. At no point did they actually physically examine the car, instead they verbally maintained that her problems were unfounded without even attempting to verify it themselves. When she persisted in trying to get them to service her vehicle they had her troubleshoot as to what she thought could be causing the problem only to mock her and point out her automotive ignorance. Please note she never claimed to be an expert, she was just trying to check in her vehicle for service. At the hour and a 1/2 point, managers became involved. Unfortunately, even the General Manager Peter, contributed patronizing behavior ...again with the pretty buttons. Bottom line, the appointment was made, the service problem documented. She should have arrived, handed over her keys, signed paperwork for the loaner and driven off. Instead, she was confronted, disrespected and marginalized by a service department full of men that refused to do their job. Was it because she was a young woman? I think that is patently obvious. Although the GM and I had a respectful conversation regarding her treatment, he clearly was part of the problem. They did not treat her concerns seriously. Since he did not condemn the actions of his employees I can only deduce that he himself promotes an atmosphere that allows for the harassment of young women. My daughter left after 2 hours with no knowledge of anything having been done to her car. If you are looking for a fair and professional service experience for your Toyota, look elsewhere.

when I received my first recall notice for an item on my Corolla, although I had not purchased the car at Lia, I called and received an appointment and a detailed set of instructions on how safely to approach the work area. I was assigned a "manager," Jean Chery. He knew I was coming and was ready to take the car and to assure me that he would let me know when it was finished. He offered a loaner car, but I didn't need it. Within a few hours, I got a text and returned to pick up the car. Not only had they fixed the car, they sanitized the insides and washed and polished the outside! Fabulous. When I received another recall notice, I was glad to call and to receive an appointment. This part was more difficult to replace, but I was comfortable putting it into Jean's hands. I had also noticed that a warning light had been coming on and pointed this out. Jean said he'd check that, too. We ran into a stretch of days during which the car had to stay at the dealership--not a big deal during this pandemic! When we drove over to pick it up, I sent my husband back home, thinking I'd just get the car and return. Alas! the factory part had been replaced but the light came on again. Jean instantly ordered up a driver to bring me back home. The driver sanitized his car inside and out and brought me back home. Finally the mystery was solved; Jean called and explained what had gone on. He also told me there would be no charge for this. Jean and the people with whom he works are an excellent team. They are ready to help one another and the customer. (The only thing that keeps me from giving them a 5 rating is their phone system that plays terrible Musak and drops calls when the operator tries to take one off hold.)

Let me start by saying that I've taken my Toyota to a few different Toyota dealerships for service but this is by far the worst of the bunch I've been to. I arrived with my wife at 5pm for an oil change and everyone behind the desk is joking around and paying no attention to us. There was one service person, the young lady at the end on the left who already had a customer and she was the only one who asked if we needed help. Meanwhile the four other people behind the desk are all conversing and ignoring us. The young lady was very nice and she gets five stars but the other people not even asking us if we need help was ridiculous. I will never take my car here again and I'm pretty much done with Toyota at this point. Why should I have to wait around when there's only one person busy and the place is empty. This is probably the worst customer service I've ever seen. And to top it off almost no one was wearing a mask. Please check your records because I was at your dealership and I attached the survey sent to me as proof.
