Drove up to Crown for a test drive. Wanted to get behind the wheel before deciding. Had been looking at many makes and models but hoped a Subaru would be the winner. The entire experience from the very informative test drive to the low key interaction between time is just what I was looking for. No one was annoying or sales pressure. That’s a great way to never return. But this dealership worked hard to earn my business in the best ways possible.

I have reviewed this business before and gave it a 4 star due to a communication issue. The work is always good so no on that. The last two times I would say they have earned a 5 star rating. The time before, my wife had to make an emergency long drive and I brought our Ascent in and they quickly did a safety inspection and told me that the front brakes should be looked at in about 1000 miles. Recently, I brought it in for just that and the service representative Matt saved us a lot of money with the brake issues because it was under warranty. That I didn’t know. So, thank you Matt and to whoever worked on our Subaru. By the way, it seems they fixed the communication problem.

I had a major problem with the lift gate on my forester that had to be repaired before a mjor trip we had planned. I didn't have an appointment and wasn't sure if the trip would have to be called off. Service advisor MATT WHITE worked me in somehow and saved the day! I took our 2024 Outback in for the 12,000 mile service and oil change on October 31, 2025. I chose to wait while the Outback was being serviced.. Alexis Stafford was the Crown representative who assisted me. She was very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful during the time I was there. I was surprised that the service didn't take as long as I anticipated. Alexis kept me informed of what was going on and approximately how much longer it would take. The waiting area was comfortable with refreshments. She even had the Outback washed for me. I would highly recommend Crown Subaru.

I would give 0 if I could. Their service department is worse than any dealership I have ever had to work with, even if the reps are nice. They significantly overcharge for both labor and parts, and keep the car for an insane amount of time for small issues that require Subaru- specific repair. A year of having to deal with their scamming is why I don't plan on owning another Subaru after decades of loyal ownership. Update: Noting the dealer response which irritates me further because I brought the car in ASKING for the body control module repair, but was put through unnecessary costs and delays anyway. Both the time and cost were much higher than they should have been, even if they had just done what I asked.

I really enjoyed working with Brandee Toche of Crown Subaru. I knew what I wanted and she respected that. We negotiated via email and text. By the time I walked into the dealership to meet with her the only things left were to take a test drive while they evaluated my trade-in. We then finalized the purchase of my new Crosstrek. The entire process went smoothly. The trade-in value was nearly spot on with the number Edmund’s had estimated. If you’re looking to buy a Subaru contact Crown Subaru and ask for Brandee.

I’ve had a few rocky visits to Crown Subaru. Especially compared to other dealerships across the country. However, what I’ve learned about this location is that communication with customers and time management aren’t their strongest areas but the employees here are mostly kind and will go out of there way to help you and make things right. Addison in service for instance is an over worked shining star of this location, ask for her if you need work done!

My family and I were on a cross country road trip when our '21 Ascent (that we bought a month prior from a dealership in Whitefish Montana) started to have transmission issues. We were stuck in the Chat area. I called and spoke to a wonderful lady who went above and beyond to help us. They rushed the order of parts and had our car back in a couple of days. I cannot thank Crown Subaru enough for how they helped us. I also would love to thank their customers who willingly moved their appointments so we could get our car fixed and be able to head 2200 miles home. I am impressed enough that i'd be willing to go cross country to buy from them if I could. I cannot recommended them enough and i'm only disappointed that we can't get regular service from them. 10/10 would go to them again.

We keep cars for 10+ years before purchasing a replacement. It was time to replace our car and we had looked at different makes & models for over a year. We decided Subaru was a quality product that offered all wheel drive and is safe and has a great reputation for dependability & a great price point. We went to Crown Subaru in Chattanooga & met Elliott in sales & instantly noticed he was honest and knew his product very well and was very interested in helping us find a car that would fit our needs without being a pushy salesman. We instantly felt he is a man of his word and genuinely wanted to help us. This goes a long way with me. We started looking at Foresters and finally decided the Outback was a better fit for us. The Outback is such a great car, beautiful, efficient, well built and plenty of standard amenities. Elliott took the time to show & talk to us about the available options each model offered. We finally decided on the 2026 Outback premium in crimson red pearl. Elliott checked with his manager & offered us a great car & price. He made sure we were completely content with our decision before we signed the papers. He showed us how operate all components and also went over all of the service recommendations. He signed us up for a free tutorial class to help with more detailed operation of the car. Then he connected us with Cindy in finance. This lady knew her job so well. The process was so seamless & easy. She helped us with our extended warranty’s & financing & we felt at the end of the process we got a great deal on a beautiful nice car. They even re cleaned the car & filled it with fuel. Elliott & Cindy & the whole crew at Crown Subaru in Chattanooga made the purchasing experience such a joy. We definitely feel we are now part of the Subaru family at Crown. We will definitely recommend Crown & will be purchasing other vehicles in the future. Thanks so much for this great experience.
