After spending several weeks visiting three different dealerships in search of the right car at the right price, only one truly delivered: Lia Hyundai of Enfield. From the moment I arrived, I was met with exceptional service at every level. The Lot Manager greeted me warmly, the Sales Consultant offered a genuine, no-pressure experience, and even the Finance Manager took a moment to offer a friendly hello in passing. To top it all off, the General Manager worked with me at closing to create a deal that exceeded my expectations. Lia Hyundai of Enfield may be a smaller store, but they are absolutely big on customer service. They made the entire process—from selection to pricing to delivery—smooth and satisfying. I’m extremely happy with my car, the deal, and the overall experience. They are truly worth the visit.

I had been going there for years. Recently when I went for a routine oil change on my 2022 Hyundai Angel claimed I must have my cabin filter replaced and the Engine air filter - I agreed though found it odd - why wasn’t it mentioned the previous oil change- then he said for an additional 1100 I needed new front brakes they are almost metal on metal. With only 50,000 miles I thought that to be odd. I waited until my next oil change and kept my eyes open for failing brakes - no failing brakes. Had my oil changed yesterday at a reliable shop - they confirmed my brakes are still fine. So LIA lied! There was no miscommunication - almost metal on metal was on he described my brakes. It was a sham. A lie. An awful human trying to take advantage of an elder woman. So be aware should you go there!! Especially specially if the service advisor is named Angel. (Note: never had an issue with Michael) But - if Lia allows folks like this to work for them it doesn’t say much about them.

I scheduled an appointment here because the Hyundai dealership near me was booked solid for over a month. This place was available the next day, so I took a shot. I listed all my issues clearly on the website when booking: the engine taking ~10 minutes to turn over after starting, a barely functional radio that only picks up about five stations, and minor body damage on the passenger-side rocker panel. I also selected the option for a free ride home and back when the car was ready. When I arrived, I was immediately told two things: they don’t do body work (even though that was a selectable option on the website) and I live too far away to qualify for the free ride (also selectable on the site). Not a great start, but fine—I settled in the waiting room, prepared for a long day. After what couldn’t have been more than a quick glance at my car, someone came out and confidently informed me that the car had started perfectly and the radio stations were all coming in crystal clear. This was laughable. The radio hasn’t worked in the four years I’ve owned the car, didn’t work on the way over, and it didn’t miraculously fix itself when they pulled it into the garage. I told them they were mistaken. As for the engine issue, I wasn’t surprised it started fine—it always does after being driven. The problem only happens after the car sits overnight, especially in cold weather. That’s literally what I came in to have checked. They said they'd need to keep the car overnight to replicate the issue. I asked if they had a cot since they’d already told me they weren’t giving me a ride home. Their solution? Charge me for a rental. When I picked up the rental, they doubled down on the radio working perfectly and this is when I was hit with a new issue: apparently, my front brake pads were the wrong size and dangerously installed, and some fluids needed to be replaced immediately. They failed the car on safety. That was surprising. I wasn’t 100% sure but I thought the only place to ever work on my brakes was Hyundai. But according to them, I should prioritize this urgent (and convenient) issue over the actual concerns I came in for—especially now that, according to them, the radio was “perfect” and the engine “fine”. Except—of course—it wasn’t. When I returned to pick up the car, the radio still didn’t work. I had to drag two employees out to the lot and make them flip through the static-filled stations before they finally admitted it. They brought the car around back, then came out again claiming it was suddenly working. It wasn’t. They said they could dig deeper, but that replacing the radio would cost around $2,600. I pulled up the part on my phone—a genuine wiring harness from the dealership was about $300. They said their quote included the screen, which, as I had to explain, worked perfectly fine. Then they suggested the issue might be the seek button “not grasping stations,” but that the tuning dial worked. So, I walked them out to the car and turned the dial in front of them. Nothing but static. They offered to keep the car another day, even waive the rental fee, so they could test it in the morning. But I had to be in New York the next day—and of course, I wasn’t allowed to take the rental out of state. So, I left—with none of the issues I came in for resolved, a $2,300 bill for repairs I never asked for, and a car still limping along with the exact same problems. Sure enough, when I got home and checked my records, I confirmed that Hyundai was the only place that had ever touched my brakes. So now I’m left to assume one of two things: either Hyundai—the actual dealership—installed the wrong pads on my car, or these people were feeding me total nonsense. I know which one I’m betting on. This place is exactly the kind of stereotypical shop you hope to avoid. They are not mechanics and do not have the knowledge or skill to diagnose or work on your car. Instead, they will use scare tactics to try to get you to agree to all of the tire rotations and oil changes you can handle because that is all they know how to do.

Lia Hyundai of Enfield on Palomba drive is an absolute rip off. I bought a brand new car not even a year ago and had 5 lights turn on with a scratching noise that made me question something was wrong. I dropped everything and drove to the dealership as the service light warned me I needed service. When I got there they told me that there was no appointment open until AFTER the weekend and holiday which was today(4 days later). I left work 2 hours early to make my appointment and by this time the lights are now off. I sat at the dealership for 2 hours to recieve a call that my car was ready. I got to the dealership to a bill for 160.00$$ and the service lady told me nothing was found and that hyundai doesn't cover *nothing* so I was responsible to pay for them to do nothing. Don't waste your money people!!!

Very friendly and fast service. Advisor Michael Lockard is attentive. There does seem to be a problem with the scheduling system as our 1st appointment seemed to cancel out the subsequent one in the same week.

I brought my car to Lia Hyundai of Enfield on Thursday, May 27th, to have new wheels put on. After leaving the dealership, I noticed my TPMS wasn’t working so I scheduled an appointment for the following Thursday. They then told me the sensors were faulty and they’d have to order new ones. So I had to schedule ANOTHER appointment for them to tell me the new sensors they ordered also didn’t work, so I then had to schedule a 4th appointment the following Thursday, only for them to cancel my appointment and be rescheduled for today, June 24th. It took 5 total appointments to get a pair of wheels correctly installed to the car. Just 3 days after having them put the wheels on my car, I got a flat tire due to an air bubble, which I was told could occur due to potholes or over inflation of the tire. Now, I intentionally drove extra cautiously with my new wheels, avoiding potholes and things of that nature just to avoid any damage on my wheels. I also never put air in my tires myself during this time. However, after bringing the car home after my second appointment, I checked the PSI and all my tires were at 38, when the recommended PSI is 33. I kept it in mind and then the next time I went, I brought the car home and checked the PSI again, and they were all at 41. So there’s two times I caught them over inflating my tires which I believed to be the cause of the flat. I made it known to Sue, and left two voicemails to Nicole, two voicemails she never returned, that I would not be paying for the tire as I believe they are to blame. In the midst of all of this, there were numerous times I was told I would get a call back, which I never received any of those calls, I was denied a loaner car despite them having 2+ weeks to find me one, and overall was disrespected by the entire service staff. Mike and Sue both failed to return any phone calls, Sue hung up on me at one point, and Mike never returned the calls he said he would return. Mike also told a customer over the phone that he wasn’t able to talk to him because there was a “line out the door,” the line out the door was my girlfriend and I, and that’s it. We were the only customers at the dealership. So he flat out lied to a customer in front of another customer. Sue also told me that I WOULD NOT be charged for the new sensors and when I went to pick up my car today, I was handed a $815 bill, despite being told it would be free of charge. The bill consisted of a charge for the tire and a charge for the installation of the TPMS. I spoke to Nick and Nicole and explained to them that I was not paying for the sensors as Sue told me I wouldn’t be charged, and that I wasn’t going to pay for the tire either as I believe they’re the ones to blame for the flat. At one point, Nick told me he could remove my tire and send me home with the car. I said “and what, drive with 3 tires?” to which Nick responded “I wouldn’t recommend it.” Totally uncalled for. The service manager Nicole, then called me a kid, yelled at me over the phone and interrupted me numerous times. She said “this phone call isn’t worth my time,” even though I’ve been spending my only day off at Lia Hyundai for the last 5 weeks if she wants to talk about waste of time. She also said I “agreed to pay for the tire last time I was here,” which those words had never left my mouth. And she also told me to never come back and that she would refuse to service my car if I did. Lucky for her, I had already planned on never coming back. Not after my experiences over the last 5 weeks. At the end of the day, they ended up removing the charges from my bill and I left without paying a penny, as I should’ve. Overall, the service department needs a whole new crew, ones who hopefully have more respect for their job and customers. If you’re planning on doing any type of business with Hyundai, make sure you go to Key Hyundai in Manchester. I’ve never once had any issues with them, ever. They’re a godsend compared to Lia Hyundai of Enfield. 0/0, would not recommend.

Went there to purchase a Palisade. It was one lie after another with these guys. They evaluated my trade, a 2018 Hyundai Sonata with 32k miles. I was not upside down on my car. I did have minor damage around my fog light that I got appraised at $589 to repair. It also shows minor damage on my carfax. I gave them my payoff and they come back with $600 more then my payoff. They said the amount I gave them for my payoff was lower because I didn’t give them my 10 day payoff amount. This was BS because I absolutely gave them my 10 payoff quote. KBB had my car evaluated at 4k more than their offer with the damage. Carvana offered me 3k more then their offer. The managers excuse was that the dealership next to them have the exact car for sale at a certain price and they need to make a profit. I said same mileage and everything and he said yes. Lie! Come to find out that car had double the miles 67k and had the same minor damage on their carfax. Also, the website sticker price of the palisade was lower then at the dealership. Not a huge deal but something to be mindful of. They had signs all over saying they pay over “book value” for sonatas. The final price they gave me on the palisade was 7k over asking price. None of the math added up. We went to Gary Rome Hyundai today and the experience was 1000 times better. Do your homework but be-careful with this dealership.

Website says open 12 to 4. Sign on the door says Sun hours 12 to 4:00. I show up. Not a salesman in sight. Stay on the lot until 12:45, checking the door, it’s locked. Continue to wait still nobody. 3 more customer come looking to shop and nobody there. Guess they didn’t want to sell cars today. This was both the Toyota and Hyundai dealer.

Got my Hyundai Elantra with the help of the awesome Brandon Fealy. He answered all of my questions and help me decide between a Sonata and and an Elantra. He even stayed past closing to deal with Amica, and when there was a problem with my insurance the next day that delayed them getting my car registered, the runner was still able to get it done that day so I was able to pick the car up the day after I bought it! They really do everything they can to make the customer happy here. Also 10/10 would recommend Brandon, he was great to work with and exceeded my expectations. Thank you! I love my Elantra, and I got a great deal on it :)

I have been dealing with Lia Hyundai for 9 years now. I have had a new 2010 Sonata, a new 2013 Elantra, and a 2 year old 2014 Sonata. I absolutely love all of these cars that I have had. Especially the 2014 Sonata. All of my sales have been through Lisa Caputo. She is a very nice woman who gets to know her clients well and also she is very friendly and personable. Throughout my 9 years of driving Hyundai's, my only problem was a coolant leak on the 2013 Elantra. It was a small leak, however it required two visits to repair. No other problems in 9 years. Other than an occasional recall. Always just a check or reprograming something. What manufacture doesn't have an occasional recall. I have been extremely happy with the quality and workmanship of Hyundai products. As for the service department, I usually deal with Susan Roberts. She is knowledgeable and super friendly. A really nice person. I have never been told that something needs fixing that really didn't need to be repaired. No pushy upselling here. That makes me comfortable dealing with Lia Hyundai.

I bought my first new car today. Lisa and Gene are awesome. Actually, the whole team rocked. I've had really bad experiences at a few other places in the past. I was relieved to be treated with respect. Not pushy at all. I was shown exactly what I was looking for. great experience, I highly reccomend them.

I always thought that with my credit score I was doomed to sketchy car dealerships who would sell me a car that would break as soon as I drove it off the lot. After numerous TERRIBLE experiences trying to get something new for me and my family, we thought we would give lia a try. They were WONDERFUL! Lisa made the experience a breeze and was so welcoming to us. She really was the most amazing person I have personally bought a car with. I went into the dealership on a Sunday and by Monday I walked out with exactly what I needed. Thank You Lia Hyundai (and LISA!!). <3

My wife, Christina and I recently leased a 2016 Hyundai Veloster in Oct 2015. We dealt with Lisa Caputo and she made the entire process so easy and painless. Dan the Finance manager was upfront and very easy to communicate with about any concerns. We never expected to have such little issue getting in to our first new car. No haggling, no hassling, the staff was all friendly and got us exactly what we wanted! Thank you Lisa Caputo, you rock!
